My local shops and the dealer charge around $115 to do a brake flush (extraction + refill).

Oh they killed the ram box.

Looks like the RamBox is still available to order on 2025 Laramies.

    Engine oil smells like gas/alcohol

I agree with G-Ride and Daw14. You can always change the oil, run it for a few thousand miles, then take an oil sample for analysis.

    3.0 eco diesel pulling TT

I've got a 22 Laramie and had a 6500 lbs TT (my payload is around 1500 lbs). When towing, it wasn't unlike my previous 5.7L Hemis...it towed just fine, just with a few extra RPMs. Because of the weight of the TT, you'll KNOW it's back there. There are upgrades you can add on to make the...

Lots of 2nd Gen Ecodiesels on the road with TONS of trouble-free miles...especially the ones with the GDE tuning.

    Change brand on rhr

When I changed the radio on my 2010 Ram many years ago, the radio was from a Town and Country. It first flashed the T&C logo, the. Switched over to Dodge. After that, it was always the right logo, so I think you’ll be fine.

    Infotainment

The Warlock is technically a 4th gen Ram Classic so the 12" Uconnect straight from a 5th Gen Ram will not work with it. The 12" Uconnect was never released for 4th Gen.

Can you tune a factory pcm in a 2017 ram 1500?

Pop the hood & look on the firewall, right behind the air intake. You'll see a silver "box" with two large connectors coming out of it.

How much longer before the misfire?? Vid

To EdGs' point, does the ticking fade, or go away, after the engine warms up? If so, it's very likely an exhaust bolt. If it doesn't fade, then pull your valve cover and watch the rockers for movement. You said they look tight...did you put a socket on to be sure?

    ZF Transmission Fluid

I'll admit I haven't changed the fluid in any of my 8HPs before I traded the truck for a newer one...but I've got to think it's easier to change the fluid with the tranny still under the truck ;) (I see you've got one in the background). But yeah, Valvoline Maxlife for the win.

    New Member with an EMERGENCY!

Have you looked at RockAuto? You may be able to find an aftermarket equivalent there...or at least something that will work for now.

    RMI (25) Slime

I know @Burla has mentioned this product before. It's supposed to take all the nasties and deposit it in your overflow bottle for easy disposal. I'm sure I'm oversimplifying it, but that's the gist of it, I believe.

    Blackstone

I've "heard" on other forums about Oil Analyzers being much faster (a week-ish) and a bit cheaper with TBN included as part of the payment ($35.75). They're affiliated with Amsoil, so if you're paying their membership fee, the test is cheaper still ($29.99). I've not used them, but they're...
