whats your basis for the blend doors appear to work? you have electronic actuators with a coupler to the blend door rod. even if you can feel the actuator doing something doesn't mean its doing what its supposed to. i dunno about the rams but the dakotas and durangos have issues there. as...
just as long as its not like my 01 durango. all electric and it has to be calibrated so it actually knows what position all the doors r in. doesn't work right at all if it loses its calibration
@GRKN im actually already on there already but haven't posted yet as my s22 i usually post from doesn't like forums anymore. its actually acting up as im typing this but its manageable.
ya right now im still chasing some issues from previous owner hack jobs. got the rear brakes fixed up from being vice gripped off assuming it was done due to the faulty abs module. got the magnaflow y pipe and the dynomax mid and tail pipe to be fitted with a flowmaster instead of the dynomax...
so i was invited over to this forum originally from a tahoe forum i was originally on. always been a fan of dodge trucks havent owned one in a while though. alot of newer ram owners on here but anyway i recently aquired an 01 durango with 125k on it. shes got numerous issues i need to work...
id be more leaning at starting with the 360 not the 318. the 318 is a good engine but you have more room to stretch on a 360. bought a book from a guy from mopar a while ago and it mentioned how easy these engines are to stroke on the cheap if you wanted to. apparently with the right block...
when i did my 99 1500 my local autoparts store had aftermarket greasable energy suspension bushing kits. they are universal but they bolted right in for me.
that is wierd however instead of throwing money and parts at it shotgun style i would have taken it to a trusted shop for diagnosis then fixed that myself. i had an issue with an 07 mountaineer after i had new tires put on. truck would shake going around turns at higher speeds. 2 shops later...
well hard wired no as anything you do with the transmission wouldn't do anything to the starter. ok lets go through some question and answer time and i mean no offense just trying to get the deets.
what starters are you buying and where? top shelf, mid priced, or bargain bin type stuff? is...
are you after more power or just a bigger engine to try to balance out the power and mpg? if your just after power your not even starting to touch what a 360 is capable of. swapping in a worked or semi worked 360 would make your life super easy besides getting it to a tuner and you would...
how long have you been driving the diesel? you may be trying to hard to compare it to that 1500 chevy. totally different engine appropriate shift points and power band and comparing any 1500 to a 2500 even mfg to mfg is different. if you haven't had it long keep looking for that sweet spot.
i know on jeeps they had part of the charging system in the ecu im not sure if it was the same on trucks and vans. however on the jeeps it was a typical issue.
find someone who has a small pool and put the whole tire in to find the leak. big one for me most tire shops tend to not try to fix is the rims sealing surface. as it generally requires running some kind of abrasive across it which will fix the leak but will also remove more of your rims coating.
honestly i think mesh would be better. it wont cut easily with a sawzall as it will just vibrate with the blade. also the noise thats going to make while your cutting it. the extra time and extra noise might do the trick.
can't remember exactly which setup it was but i recall there being a regular issue with one or both v8s where the engine harness itself would fail and cause this issue. something about oil getting into the harness. you have stated you replaced the ecm after finding a burned plug. you haven't...
