We had a recent cold spell where the temperatures dipped below zero for a few days and the wind chill had us at minus 30 for a day. I don't drive my truck daily and have to park it outside.
During the cold spell I tried to remote start my truck and it wouldn't start unless I physically got into...
I have it on my 2019 Limited and sometimes I get the "tail gate" open message even though it's securely closed, and I have to get out and slam it shut once or twice to get the light to go off.
I don't know if you get the same instant throttle response when changing the settings in the BCM.
But I have the Roar Pedal in my 2019 RAM Limited and my truck has the "Hands Off" auto parallel parking feature.
When I used it with my co-workers in the truck, it backed up so fast I almost...
Man you just named both of my sons and my niece and nephew with those words. I don't understand today's youth, the 25-45 yr olds. They don't want kids, but will have 3 cats and 2 dogs. Think they should be earning $100k or more right out of college, and don't know how to check the oil on their...
I noticed the smell on my 2019 as well. A closer look and I found that the smell was coming from the overflow like Dean2 said. I didn't trust my gut so when I had it in for an oil change I had them look into it and that's exactly what the dealership came back with as well.
I have a 2019 Limited and that happened to me when I first got it and was practicing backing into my garage. The BLIS (from what I've learned) will apply the brakes abruptly if the system thinks you are about to hit an object. In my case it was reacting to the tires I had behind my truck. It...
I had family in town visiting one weekend and my brother in law wanted to see how it worked. I used it to parallel park and it did fine, I wasn't sure so I hit the brakes when it got close to the car behind me not knowing if it would stop or not. Probably won't use it again.
That was hard for me as I never let my needle go past 1/2 a tank. I lived in California from 2014 - 2015 and I regularly paid $4.80+ for gas. When I moved back east in mid 2015 $3.50 a gallon gas prices didn't scare me anymore so ALL my vehicles get 91+ octane super unleaded.
Things I've done added to my truck since buying it include:
1. Husky floor liners front and back - $185 from Amazon
2. AVS smoked hood protector - $62 from eBay
3. Putco bed side rails - $160 from Amazon
4. Door sill protectors and 11in screen protector - $59 from Amazon
5. Rear side bed step -...
I put the Roar Pedal on at my brother-in-laws house in Iowa this past weekend. His wife has a 2021 Durango and he was impressed, me too, as to how responsive the truck was with the roar pedal in Sport+ mode. I was doing 80+ mph in 5th gear and the truck was pulling hard.
Thanks for posting, I was about to place an order with them, (supporting forum vendors), for parts I can get locally in my area but at a slightly higher price. I'd rather pay $30 or $40 dollars more with a brick and mortar I can visit than with an online vendor who doesn't reply to emails or...
I have a 2019 Limited with all the bells and whistles. The truck has the air lift suspension and currently only has 16k miles on it. Aside from my mom having air ride on a Lincoln Continental back in the 80's I have no experience with this type of system. That being said I know that it's going...
I'm retired Army and have access to a 4 post lift on base. I use it to visually inspect under all my vehicles and to lube the suspension parts on my 69 Cougar. At my house I drive up on my ramps and pressure wash the underside of my cars in the winter. Luckily, they don't salt the roads that I...
I too was of the mindset that one should only handwash their vehicles and do it at least once a week. I was pretty good doing just that then I started slipping. My vehicles, all 5 of them (69 Cougar, 10 Maxima, 16 Suzuki Burgman 650, 20 Outback & my 19 RAM) looked great until my 2006 back...
I checked my truck last night in my brightly lit garage and thought my switches didn't light up. I decided to check again the next night just before I was about to order a new switch. This time I left the garage lights off and lo and behold, all the switches on my panel lite up. Saved myself...
