That would definitely be cool to see.. in Florida, the roads are pretty dark. And deer like to run out from the sides. So being able to see far and wide is a plus. Guess I'm wanting it all. Lol
Thanks all of you for your input. Weather I agree with your opinions or not, they were helpful none the less. I've done a bunch of research and I've come away with the similar thought as hunterdan. So I'm going to go with a set of OEM lights. Will take a before and after picture for future...
SYKRAMMAN. Could you please provide a picture of the light output from these headlights. Curious to see what they look like. I checked out American truck. They have pictures of the headlights but none show the light pattern.
Yeah my wife's Toyota projector has a very straight cut off line all the way across (no cut off as such). This aftermarket one is really distinct and limiting. I have them aimed high enough. It's fine for straight (and seeing the right side of the road) and turning right. It's horrible to...
Good point wild one. Here is a pic of the new durango's headlights @ 25feet. As you can see, there is a SLIGHT dip but the left side, compared to the right, definitely is much higher than the aftermarket ones on the ram.
Also the picture I submitted is further away than 15 feet and the truck is angled against the fence. I can take a more direct 90 degree picture if needed. I just took it to show how drastic the drop on the left side is. Again, thank you.
Thank you Cheech, but I'll have to disagree. I know there is supposed to be some SLIGHT lowering on the left side to keep oncoming traffic from being blinded. However, this set (like other cheap sets) have the left side ridiculously lower. They work OK for going straight and making right...
Hi Guys and Gals,
I am looking to replace the aftermarket headlamp assemblies the previous owner installed on the truck as he said the stock ones got too foggy. My truck is a 2013 Laramie Longhorn which came stock with the factory Projector style headlamp assemblies. As I've experienced in...
Just throwing this out there. That low mileage with two previous owners might reveal a hiccup. Might be better researching the previous owners through the DMV and asking them directly
Thanks Gordo. I'm only aware of the infotainment upgrade option which is quite expensive at $2,300. If you could provide a link to Benny's site, that would be helpful.
In regards to the other half of your reply. I've installed many radios in the past. My concern about installing an...
Hey guys, new to Ram. I bought a 13 ram Laramie longhorn. Has the alpine nav 8.4 radio. I'm older so the stock unit with the subwoofer is more than enough for listening pleasure. I WANT Android Auto however. Bouncing between infotainment's upgrade (ouch $$$) or aftermarket head until...
Ok Guys, Its official. I am the proud owner of a slightly used (LOL - 95K miles) 2013 Ram Laramie Longhorn 1500 w/ the 5.7l CC 4x4. As stated above, she will need a little love. Let the party start!!! Thank you all!!!
Ok Guys, been a crazy ride the last two days. 1) The original truck I was looking at fell through. Sales manager insulted my Father while we were there and that was the end of that deal. 2) Father found a 2013 Laramie Long Horn with 95k miles at another dealer. That truck, although newer...
Why can't you jump the seat belt buckle wires to always make the system think the seatbelt is buckled? I did this on a previous car to disable the annoying chime. Might solve two birds with one stone.
Thank you guys SO MUCH!!! Sorry, it was a long day at work, so I couldn't check the web much. I've heard about the Hemi "tick" but that has to be one of the best explanations I've read. You made that crystal clear. I know exactly what I'm looking for now. I was just going to mash the go...
Sorry, I guess that would be good info to have to help. 2012 Ram 1500 CC 4x4 with the 5.7l
Also, Does this truck come prewired for a trailer brake controller? Looks like it has the 4-pin / 7pin combo trailer connector on the back next to the rear license plate.
