    starting problem

How old is the pump? With a sudden crank, no start with everything else you mentioned you already replaced, it is probably the fuel pump. There are internal seals and parts the can break up. If that's the original pump, its almost certainly bad, the E85 could have just pushed it over the edge...

    new stereo buzzing like crazy

Poorly shielded wire will cause interference, as well as poorly made equipment. Wires are cheaper so I would start with that- make sure the RCA to the amp are good quality. Also the RCA running to the amp should not be next to the power to the amp. This will cause interference too. Run them...

04 1500 head, tail and turn signal issues

Could be the multifunction switch. Maybe clean it to start and then replace it if you still have a problem?

    Ac blowing cold when stopped

Probably a broken blend door, it causes these same symptoms and is very common on the 3rd gen rams

'05 Ram 5.7 Transmission not working and making a winding noise

Sounds like a torque converter, the bearings can go bad and it will sound like a whining noise up coming from the bell housing. If you put it into gear and are able to roll it a little downhill or something and don't hear anything from the transmission it is almost certainly the torque...

Universal/Under the Dash AC in '03 Ram 1500?

Agreed, taking apart the dash is not as bad as you would think. Take pictures as you go and label bolts/screws in bags. There is a lot of youtube videos. I got mine apart and back together in the same day- about 8 hours total. Never had done it before. You don't have to remove the steering...

4.56 gears trans goes into limp mode

Do you have AWD? If yes than I wouldn't drive it until you swap the front to match. That big of a difference will definitely throw that code and eventually break something in your driveline.

Ran out of gas and now it wont start

Probably a bad fuel pump. I put in aftermarket pump that failed after a couple days. A used fuel pump probably sat empty which will rot all of the parts that are supposed to get lubricated by the gas. A new mopar pump was $350 a couple years back

    Sorry, Windshield wiper not working.

By process of elimination I would have to guess its the multifunction switch too. You can clean them, worth a shot if you have the tools, you will need long small torx: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kb87qBE9Ito Or buy a new one

front diff grinding in 2WD. 4x4 will engage but the wheels don't receive power... sound goes away

Can you tell what is broken- Is it the joint in the actual CV? It could be the splines on the diff side of the CV- any play in the CV joint over time will cause the CV to wear down the spline of the passenger diff shaft. It it technically called an "intermediate shaft". If its just your CV...

    Need some radio wiring help

I second the vote for Crutchfield. They will get you the right harness

    Possible vacuum leak?

Spray brake clean to test for vacuum leaks. You can get pretty specific of where you spray to test for the leak if you get the cans with the skinny straw. It will stall out a bit if there is a leak. Vacuum leaks can be a needle in a hay stack unfortunately

I'm definitely an idiot when it comes to wiring.

This is from Scoshe for 06-07 rams: Wiring Diagram If you radio doesn't power up, you most likely either wired it wrong or have poor connections. Or if you bought a used radio it could be broken. You have to make sure you get good connections- solder and shrink tubing absolutely necessary. I...

    led stays on

A 3 way switch is when you have two different switches controlling the same light Do you mean a toggle switch? It would have three positions- off-2, light-1 and light-3. In this setup only one set of lights will work at a time. The toggle should have 3 terminals. The middle one connects to the...

    Inside Trailer Camera

I tow horses often, and I was looking into getting one of those cameras so I can see a live feed of inside the trailer. Anyone install one of these, and have a recommendation? Its a two horse with a permanent head stall divider so Im gonna need 2 cameras with a split display screen. I don't...

    Power steering hose leaking

I had that same problem and just replaced both hoses with ones from a salvage yard on a truck with low miles (mine had 170k at the time). I think those fittings get worn or something, not really sure. Same thing happened to a friend of mine.

One turn signal sometimes fast ‘04 1500

Most likely a bad after market multiswitch since you said you had problems only after replacing. Either that or the relay is bad, but probably the multifunction switch. Although the are electrical they have mechanical sliding elements that can get gummed up. If that aftermarket one was sitting...

front diff grinding in 2WD. 4x4 will engage but the wheels don't receive power... sound goes away

Pull the front diff cover off and take a look. Doesn't take long. Put it in neutral so you can spin it and see if anything is broken. Check the front CVs to, as well as the CV on the front of the transfer case. All of those would sound like "front diff grinding" noises

    4x4 Diagnostic help

Are you sure it's only when in 4wd? All the components of the front end- front drive shaft/diff/CVs/hubs will spin even when not in 4wd. If you only hear it in 4wd, its has to be something in your transfer case- when you shift to 4wd the belt that connects to the trans output is engaged. If...

    Lower Ball Joint

Are you using a ball joint pulling tool? All the big auto supply stores will rent them to you for free. It is definitely supposed to come out, they are pressed in and can be very hard to get out. With the right ball joint kit it will work, but you might need to heat it up with a torch to help it...

I need to replace my HEMI, what am I in for?

You might just have a broken valve spring. The metal in the early 5.7 hemis valves springs were an issue and would give you a crappy idle. If it runs better with higher RPM I would bet thats the problem. You can repair this without removing the head too, just make up a holder out of wire or...

    AWD? RWD?

I have got a 2004 ram 1500, 5.7 with 4x4. was doing some driveline work, and replacing the CV on the front driveshaft that comes out on the from of the transfer case. The shaft is out, and I figure I would just drive it without power to the front wheels- wrong! To my surprise when in AWD, only...

    Front Axles clunking

The splines will be exposed a little bit on that stub shaft that's normal. But should should definitely not see that C-clip. There is a grove inside the CV shaft that the C-clip sits inside, and that holds the CV joint onto the intermediate shaft. That is most likely causing one of your noises...
