Fairly firm, that's why the handling is crisp. I run 42 psi unladen which warms up to 46 or so. 70 to 80 psi towing.

Country of origin can vary by size. A Wildpeak in LT275-65/20 lists country of origin as CN per Tire Rack. Tire Rack does indicate that's the best information at this time and that it can change. Falken is a brand created by Ohtsu, a Japanese company later purchased by Sumitomo. I used to use...

    Tires need advice

On my 2nd set. They're good for 60K miles +/-. I took my first set off at 45K, sold them $240 which pays for my own "buy 3, get 1 free" program. I'm fortunate to get them from Tire Rack wholesale through a business account. Great tires, improved handling, low noise considering tread, noise goes...

    Ram noise dealer no help

Based on what you have provided so far, I think you need a cocktail and just relax. Bottom end "soft" knock? When the bottom end starts knocking you"ll know. Here's my advice: 4 oz. Ketel One vodka, 2 oz. orange seltzer over ice. Take 4 & call me in the morning....

    Ram noise dealer no help

Not really. That video sounds like my 2017 5.7 Hemi with 82K miles. Videos have limitations but I don't hearing anything strange based on that audio.

No name tires from FB Markert Place

Standard OEM for Hyundai and Kia. Got 60K on my wife's Sonata and we put another set on. Great wear, good in the rain, cheap to replace. I would never use them on a motorcycle. When you only have two wheels, inexpensive is not a criteria.

    Dealership Fiasco

There is no viable automobile dealership that "is getting out of in-house financing" unless they are in deep financial turmoil. Finance and insurance is one of the key profit centers of a dealership. Clearly, this dealer may have lost its sources of finance either due to improper lending...

    Refueling issues 2021 ram 1500

Never had a problem with that-the attendants I use remove the nozzle after it clicks off the first time. In the northeast from Boston to D.C, 85% of the stations/convenience stores are run by Hindu families. They pool their resources and invest in this industries. It actually started about 25...

    Refueling issues 2021 ram 1500

NJ passed the Retail Gasoline Dispensing Act in 1949. Still in effect today and essentially prohibits self-fueling. Numerous studies have shown that there is no disparity in pricing as result of the act. In addition, NJ has some of the highest liability insurance expenses in the country-the act...

Thar' she blows or Air Suspension failure 2.0

Well, I'm reluctant to trade it in because I'll lose my lifetime MaxCare plan. This is the 2nd failure. If it upchucks a third time, I'll go the air suspension removal route and put in a nice quality hydraulic suspension for with a mild lift.

Thar' she blows or Air Suspension failure 2.0

You are correct. The east coast and CA have some of the largest dealer groups. Chicago is no picnic either. These abuses occur by what I describe as benign ignorance. Dealer principals, GM's and Managers routinely turn a blind eye then act shocked that an employee has acted inappropriately. It's...

I applaud your contention an "honest" mistake was made. If so, it was 1 in a 1,000 in the car business. I am so relieved to be retired from the auto industry. The car business blows.

Thar' she blows or Air Suspension failure 2.0

Read post #23. The pay plans create the opportunity for bad behavior. If you construct a system where the more you bill, the more you make, then pit the parts department against the service department or the sales department against service, you've unleashed the jackals. Simple human nature...

FedEx and the car business is apples & oranges. A dealer group with 40 locations and 25 brands carries clout vs. a claim of fraud from one customer. The CEO may provide you some recompense but nothing-zero will happen to the wealthy dealer group other than seeing if they would like a new store...

Thar' she blows or Air Suspension failure 2.0

I worked inside the industry for 45 years. When you contact the manufacturer to "file" a complaint, they will open a case to document your concern. They may contact the dealer but they will likely advise you each dealer is an independent business solely responsible for their actions. If they...

Thar' she blows or Air Suspension failure 2.0

If the failure occurs a third time, I'll likely do the same. It's a shame. When the Air Suspension works, it's great. But I'm not up for annual failures. With the MaxCare Lifetime, I'm willing to hang in a bit longer, but 3 strikes & you're out. Those are the rules....
