It reminds me of the Elantra GT when it's in Eco mode. If you tromp on it at the wrong instant, it's like there's a momentary hunting for it's next gear before it drops down. Are you suggesting that with the 5W30, the 2009 truck's sensors were dissatisfied with the lubrication, either dispersion or lubricity? Would sensors be able to detect those parameters? .- RamDiver

Getting an appointment for dealer service
Do the receipts list the type and weight of oil used? If so, you're lucky. The stealership I have been using just lists a Mopar #. When I asked why, they said it's been that way for years because of customers complaining about the wrong grade being used. duh I'm shopping for a new dealer. .- RamDiver

This is an excellent list that requires only one qualifying statement. The fuel system cleaning using Redline SI-1 should only be performed just prior to an oil change because, as we all know, all the released fuel system crud gets flushed into the oil supply. :cool: .- RamDiver

Do they name the truck year of the service manual anywhere else? The only info I can find on that site is they cover 2011-2020. Ian has a 2010 listed here and a 2012 listed here. I rejected so many for the wrong year or no year indicated. The 2008 seems to be elusive so far. . -

I would recommend replacing that blown fuse on the cigarette lighter ASAP. I've had other vehicles that shared that fuse with other important items and you could be chasing your tail for no reason. I can't find a 2008 Ram 3500 service manual, so I can't provide any further assistance. . -
