    I’ve used magnets on oil filter for yrs. I have a 1x2 on my filter, been on there for 20+yrs.(not same filter). Good idea to use on motorcycle as well. As it helps to get those pesky red lights to change.

    Yes. I can swap s pack and detent plate. All the info I’ve found ,says only difference seems to be software. As mechanically the trans is the same. I found that the 45rfe is the same mechanically and supposedly a software swap to it (45) will make it a 545rfe. Found that info in jeep forum.

    You didn’t say how many miles. If it’s over 100,000ml . Id check crank sensor, you can also change the fuel pump relay with a matching one in the fuse box. I got about 230k out of the oe fuel pump.

    Just bought a 2002 Dodge ram 1500 with 8 lug wheels

    8th digit tells engine. I think the 2500 frame is boxed in some spots & or maybe a lil taller in some spots . I had a 03 2500 & remember it was a lil different than the 04 1500. Also no hemi till 03.

    Shaking

    Floating rotors need (the wheels)to be torqued in the air. If it’s 4x4 could’ve bent a front axle. Or it’s still a wheel & tire issue. If the hubs weren’t cleaned up when rotors were changed a small amount of rust behind the rotor(s) on the hub will cause a shake.

    Just do filter(s) and only the fluid amount needed for changing filters. I would Not change all fluid.

    I always use the champion plugs in my 04 5.7. Which is the oem for it. Usually get 60k. Forgot once & can say 90k & they’re gap is way to big. The wrong plugs can cause coil issues.

    Touch the liquid and rub your fingers together . Smell the liquid. If it’s sticky & smells like anti-freeze. It’s a leak. If not it’s most likely condensation from a/c. It could be a heater hose clamp not tight or the hose.

    Keep the air filter changed & clean. If it’s a ring issue. A dirty air filter will cause it to burn more oil. Because it’s going to get that air somewhere

    Electromotive cleaner for alt/starters. Mass air cleaner for throttle body. It has a coating on it. Brakekleen can ruin electrical parts. It melts the coating off the windings.

    So not sure this will help. Shake the tipm when it’s out. I believe it has a few relays under it that are soldiered in. If the relay(s) bad it’ll sound like a rock or somethings in it loose.     If you always top the tank off. This will cause cc problems. Carbon canister is for vapor only. And topping off the tank usually get liquid in it & cause a problem. If you don’t top off.
