    I did not have to jack the transmission up. There are 2 bolts that are above your exhaust pipe though, assuming you have a HEMI, that can be annoying to get out without a small socket. Pretty sure the Dorman pan is the same size as the OEM

    I bought the Dorman pan replacement (265-850) w/ replaceable filter. Also got some Valvoline MaxLife ATF. Haven't had any issues. Just ordered a new filter and gasket (265-850F) for the pan actually. Going to do another fluid change once it gets a little bit warmer out.

    Your truck has MDS. Sometimes the indication (ECO) light gets disabled in the truck settings. Don't remember if its on the EVIC or the Uconnect system. EDIT: Unless previous owner deleted your MDS of course.

    How did you guys test your rear control arms for excessive play? I think I'm having this issue as well. My bushings look ok visually and don't seem to be excessively worn but I haven't pulled them off to check.

    Just had a look. RedLine is even harder to come by than Amsoil in Canada it seems. Thinking I’ll just use the Valvoline MaxLife and hope for the best. I saw elsewhere that someone has used it and is at 200k trouble free miles with his T-case.

    ST would be your lowest trim. If you're going to be mountain climbing and off-roading, a truck with 3.92 gears would be your best bet for low end torque and ability to increase tire size without stressing it too much.
