Correct, the problem has not come back since the alignment.
If it was just aligned and your steering wheel is cocked to one side still, either the alignment wasn't done correctly, or you have something in your front end suspension that is bent or worn out to the point that the steering wheel...
This ended up being at least partially an alignment issue. Once the truck was realigned, the steering wheel position sensor stopped detecting 'implausible data' from the steering wheel being slightly turned to the right while driving.
Not sure if changing the battery was necessary to resolve...
Last night I stopped by O'Reilly again to see if their scanner could read something mine couldn't. He was able to pull up code: Ram OEM Enhanced TCM (Transmission Control Module) U1477-00 - Implausible Paddle Shifter Data Received.
Looks like the 'possible causes' are:
- Check for Steering...
I am currently having those same 3 mservice messages appear on my truck. Any word as to what the solution was? I have already changed the battery thinking it may have been low voltage.
Sounds like an ABS wheel sensor is being triggered which turns off the traction control and disables the cruise control. Could be a sensor, the ABS moduble, or possibly a wheel bearing going bad and causing irregular signals to an ABS sensor. Hope this helps.
This is an AGM battery (must be AGM friendly 'trickle' charger) and was reading 12.6 out of the box. Currenty, cold, it's reading 12.69 v. I've driven to work for 2 days, (16 miles a day) and it still hasn't resolved itself.
Yesterday evening I checked ground wires and pulled harness plugs I...
I have replaced the battery with an Odyssey AGM 94RH7L4 battery and driven the truck for >16 miles with the same service messages on the dash. The battery does not appear to be the end solution to this problem.
I'm guessing it's time to start unplugging wiring harnesses and checking for corrosion?
The issue has returned with all previous symptoms. My OBDII scanner is not detecting any codes.
Should just take it to the dealer?? Any ideas of what to check?
This is a phone setting issue if I'm understanding your issue correctly.
For iPhone, go to into settings. Then scroll all the way down to Uconnect. Once inside the settings for Uconnect you can turn the notifications off that are being pushed to the truck from your phone.
Not sure how to do...
*Update*
I disconnected the battery for >45 min, and then reconnected.
I then drove to our local O'Reilly auto parts to get the truck scanned for codes. On my way there, all the service messages cleared from the dash and all other symptoms involving the cruise control, air suspension height...
While driving in light rain on the interstate at roughly 60 mph, I just had 3 service warnings come on all at once.
