First thing would be do a radiator flush. Should be done anyway. Really not out of range but mine sitting in traffic usually stays at 201-203f in 70f-80f. Doing a flush may get it back lower. If it was the thermostat I feel would be consistently higher not just sitting in traffic.
Just an update. Got the sensor other day. Installed yesterday. Super easy job took about 10 minutes total. Make sure and have a deep socket for the sensor removal and install. CEL cleared after about 20 miles. Oil psi back to normal. Yay
Do you think they would be fine with the high temp if they were wrapped? That was my concern with the lower grade stainless steel. I do not have the big issue of corrosion here.
Yes the torque gains of the long tubes were substantial down low as proven by the graph.(shorties in red long in black) Not what you think being oposite.

Am assuming they are using 409 grade stainless steel and not 304. Typically when they don't specify the grade its the lower. Just wonder about the longevity. I would no doubt be willing to give a try.
Is the one I ordered. Has nut on bottom that I can add a drain valve later on if I wanted. Looks similar to yours. Will let you know how it goes. Haven't gotten it yet but should have installed by weekend...
