    Back in 2015, I found an open box set of BBK 4014s at amazon for $69 (nope, not a typo) and put them on 7 years ago with felpro type gaskets snotted up with hi-temp silicone. Never had a issue since. Getting the broken bolts out (reason i upgraded) was a b*tch but worth it!

    I can’t say what the actual issue was for me but as mentioned in this thread, I lost OD and had some odd shifts at 135k mi. Tranny shop put in a torque converter and it’s been great for 50k miles. Good luck!
