2/4 drop AND notched frame?
I had a 2/4.5 kit, decided to c-notch mine. I did all of the work in my driveway, turned out great. I also added the air lift helper bags. DEFINITELY recommend them. Mine now sits @ 3.5/6 . -

What about these? General Grabber AT 2 I had a set on my Tracker. Great in mud, snow. Also last a long time. Of course I only paid like $30/each with my employee discount. LOL Worth a look though. They have great reviews on TR. (8.3/10), 4/5 stars -

Terrible Ride

Power steering filter- Help! :)
I have the filter. A-1 CARDONE Part # 200012F . Just not sure the best location for it. It may not really help, but i would prefer to try it over blowing the rack seals again.- BKNBK

Hey everyone, I am replacing my rack & pinion, bought a filter for my ps. Has anyone ever added a filter? It says to put it on the return line before the pump but I'm having an issue determining that location. I hate to cut the wrong hose. :superhack: I am assuming this is worth it. Seems...- BKNBK

Removing truck bed for rust removal.
I would suggest taking the rear bumper off before pulling the bed. Makes it easier, less possibility of scratching the bed. -

I hear you. I know I won't make up all the money I've put into it. I've thought about reinstalling the factory SLT parts, (wheels & all). Surely someone would pay $8000 or so for it. I was hoping for $10k or so as is. I might put a ridiculous number of $12k on it and park it for a couple...- BKNBK

front end conversion
I just did a conversion on my 02. I went from SLT to 06-08 SRT. Its fairly easy, just swapping parts. The only thing i know of that you'll have to do is modify the headlamp connections. Everything else is fairly straightforward. It is pricey though! -

I started with a 2/4. It is now 3/5. I added 2" drop coils, but used a 1" spacer to get it to 3". I also added helper air bags on the rear, c-notched. -

I was just told my bed is junk
The reason it rusts out there: design flaw. The 02-04 beds all do it. The area where the inner fender mates with the bed side holds dirt, sand, water. Over time the drain plugs (if still present) become useless as they get clogged. If you are going to buy a new bed buy an 05-08. Apparently they... -

Leafs vs Flip kit help
I just replied to your pm- but the ride is stiff. I dropped mine 3/5 with Air Lift helpers in the rear. They do work wonders. I would like to add a remote compressor, also, but that's a seperate issue. I am only a couple of minutes and 1 set of helacious RR tracks from the smoother city roads... -

Roll Pan with a hitch
I just did the Street Scenes Fiberglass rp, with hidden hitch, flip up license plate mount. Easy to install, most of the time was spent removing the factory hitch. I like it. -

Radiator overflow leak
Mine had a very small crack at the top corner of the drivers side. The plastic caps are known to leak. A new radiator is only $100 or so.
