Yeah, normal. Mine acts that way too. The 68RFE is a good transmission but is very clunky. Like it doesn't know what gear to be in, and is always a gear to high for the speed im traveling. Towing 27' travel trailer....coil bags?
I agree with Hemi003, When I had my 2013 1500 Sport, I leveled it. Yes I could've gone with airbags to bring up the ride, but because the suspension was so soft, it would squat with anything in the bed. My 2014 2500 is stock and I tow quite a bit. Also depends if its a 2500 or 3500. 2500 is only offered in Manual and 68RFE 6 speed auto. 3500 is available with all 3 transmission options. manual, 68RFE and Aisin. How heavy you are towing will tell you what option you need- Arctic-Rodz

2017 drw 3.73 vs 4 10
Man, my current 2500 with the 68RFE feels like a sloth compared to the 3500 Dually I test drove yesterday. I tow at or just north of 17k lbs, although my truck can handle it, I know I'm towing in Dually territory. Drove a 2017 Crew Cab dually with the Aisin and 4.10's and it blew me away...- Arctic-Rodz

Upgrading rear axle and springs from a 3500 to a 5500
Wanna see pics of what you're hauling. Interested in going into car hauling as well. I wouldn't be the driver since I don't have a CDL. I'll be hiring my bro-in law, but I'm considering a 3500 dually with the Aisin and 4.10's which I test drove recently. Debating trailers as well.- Arctic-Rodz

Display for clogged DPF
I have a 2014 with 32k miles. No it does not say what percent your DPF is at. It only tells you when its doing a full regen, which the display will tell you that the DPF is 100% full/regen in process. In the time I've had it (from new) I have only seen it twice. heavy load
Very nice My heaviest load on my truck has been just over 21k lbs on my 30 foot Big-Tex 22GN trailer with a John Deere Back Hoe on it. Handles it very well but I am in Dually territory and will be upgrading upon my next truck. Hardly squats it too, very impressed with this coil suspension.- Arctic-Rodz

2015 2500 Cummins
In my opinion, unless you're gonna tow more often and more weight, get a 2500. Otherwise keep a 1500. The 1500 is a lot more comfortable. Yes the 2500 has rear coils but nowhere near as comfy as my 2013 1500 sport. I did need more towing capability so I upgraded to my now 2014 2500...- Arctic-Rodz

MPG on new 2500?
@ 65 depending on what area (hills or mostly flats) will dictate what your mileage will be. I have experienced 18-20mpg @ 75mph in some slightly hilly areas. Hand calculated, the mpg meter on mine is typically exaggerated by 2mpg.- Arctic-Rodz
