    Hello all. I just purchased a 2016 Ram 1500 and am wondering about getting a back up camera installed. I believe I need to have the RA-2 head unit to use the OEM tailgate latch camera but I’m not sure how to tell what I have. I searched and found a lot of info but still am not sure. Any help...

    Possible new (used) Ram owner

    Well I finally pulled the trigger and picked the truck up on Sunday. Runs and drives perfectly and looks basically brand new. Thanks for all the welcomes. I’ll be doing some more research now starting with seeing if I can add a back up camera. Here’s a pic for now.

    Thanks all and sorry for the late reply’s. I ended up getting the truck. Went to see it and it looked practically new despite the 70k miles. It’s a RWD and seems to drive perfectly fine. I’ll try to attach a pic. Next thing I want to look at is if it’s possible to add a rear view camera...
