That's what the video in my post is showing, I am turning it down while it is reading the text but it immediately turns it back up to volume 15 next time.- mikepol2

Yep the dealer tried that on both the old and new radios but no luck. Tried the nav-specific settings with the nav-only volume but same thing, adjusted to start at 2 but once you restart the truck it’s back at 15.- mikepol2

Same here, it’s infuriating. Does the same with my iPhone, had to unpair it so I wouldn’t have a heart attack every time someone called while I was driving. OK if you want to get all mathy… The only reason we care about gear ratio is because it controls the force applied to the road by the tires. At the same RPM and in the same transmission gear, a truck with 3.92’s applies more force to the road than a truck with 3.21’s. Therefore at the same...- mikepol2

I think a lot has to do with how hilly your area is. I have the 3.92's and get about 15.5 mpg city / 21 hwy, and it's very hilly here. So luckily when I bought this truck used, for the first time I paid for an extended service contract. Took it in this week to have the radio looked at, they tried to update the software and/or firmware but were unable to do it and are ordering me a new radio! No charge. Thoughts on this setup
Coming from Silverados so I'm new to Ram leveling / lifts. Would like just a little bump on mine, like 1.5 - 2" front and 1-1.5" rear. With the Silvy's it's easy, just a couple spacers under the front struts and rear leafs. How does it work on Rams? -

Not sure but it was so bad I disconnected Bluetooth with my phone. When a text was being read aloud you could use the volume knob to make it quieter, but the next text would come back in at volume 15. I read one post that said someone contacted Dodge about it and was told it's a Uconnect...- mikepol2

I had the 6.2 with the 8 speed, but with 3.23 rear end. This hemi with 3.92 rear end is definitely quicker, and doing the math it should be, it calculates out to be putting more force down to the pavement with this combination. Yeah maybe that’s why it was so hard to find the options I wanted at this trim level. Did not want the e-torque which really narrowed the available trucks.
