Best Mods for Under $100
My '17 2500 had this on it when I bought it. However, it needed a new hold down strap which Traxion provided at no charge when I explained the situation. I was willing to buy the strap, but they shipped me one at no charge. But it was pretty rickety until I put a few welds on the extension area...- Wingnutt

Like others here have said, I can totally relate. I've got an '88 Cougar sitting out behind my brother's barn/garage. Are basic Ram 1500 classics really selling for ~$45K?
I was at NAS Ocenana yesterday for the Blue Angles air show and the local dealer had a quintet of Ram 1500s there. They started out at $68k and went up to $88k for the new hybrid. Thanks, but no thanks. If this is the future of pickup trucks, I'll be keeping my eye out for a pre '80 3/4 ton...- Wingnutt

I found a way to receive your own PIN CODE without the dealer :)
Yup, worked fine; unlike the closest dealer who said that the only code was a rolling 5 digit and was only good for 12 hours...no matter what I said.- Wingnutt

I just got my '17 Ram 2500 last week and want to make a few changes. I ordered the ODBLink MX+ and downloaded the Alphaodb software for this purpose. BUT after reading most of this thread, I now have to ask, will the Chrysler Pin Puller app work with the ODBLink MX+ ?- Wingnutt

Thanks for the detailed reply. I live in SE VA where the only time the temps get below 30 is on late Jan or early Feb, and then only for a short period. Also I'll have to check into obtaining some lubegard biotec. I need to contact the dealer that I purchased it from to see what they did when...- Wingnutt

I just traded my '07 Silverado 2500 with a Duramax in on my '17 Ram 2500 6.4 and have a question about using the extra oil that I have. It's Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40 with an API CK4 rating. Will it be OK to run this oil in the 6.4s? I know that you can use oil designed for diesels in gas...- Wingnutt
