    Oil Filters - Is anyone using the WIX WL10290 instead of 57060 on the 6.4 l?

    I can't find any specs on this filter at the Mopar site. One of the things that concerns me is the micron rating. Back when I had my first gen Ram with the Magnum 360 engine, the bigger filter from the Viper would fit it, but wouldn't filter as fine a particle as the OEM WIX filter for the Magnum.

    I did see that one mentioned, but it says it only goes down to 25 microns. WIX goes to 20 microns. Also, I can't find mention of the the bypass pressure setting anywhere on the Royal Purple site?

    Yes, I would have preferred a diesel. And had them in the past. But the lifecycle cost savings isn't there anymore. We already paid Covid tax just to get a newer truck. The diesel tax put the ROI even more negative. So my tradeoff is slowing down on hills a little, or towing at 80mph.
