I am trying to reprogram a Ram 1500 Fobik key that is not reading properly (truck no longer recognizes it in the WIN module). FOBIK Issue:Fob will unlock, lock, and remote start, but will not work in the ignition
I took the WIN module off, blew it out, and cleaned it with contact cleaner. Still no dice. I also changed the battery in the remote just to rule that out. Still did not fix it. Also disconnected the truck battery to see if a reset would help. Looks like it may be the chip in the key. I have...- alabamabob

Just checked. No codes. I am going to check a couple of other things. I looked back at the carfax from when I bought it and there was a note about the previous owner having the keys reprogrammed. Maybe that is just an intermittent issue with this one for some reason.- alabamabob
