Let me know how the dealer treats you. I will do the same when I get in there.
It is starting to do it going forwards now. As if making a slow acceleration from a right hand turn, like after stopping for pedestrians at a signal and then pulling away.
Ever think of changing the title from “READ THIS” to “Read your OWNERS MANUAL”?
No. I have not.
That is the point. I was trying to be helpful and guide people with what they could do
if they had a vehicle that was not operating as they thought it should. I am not that sort of person...
Attention: The above highlighted post is nothing more than a long winded joke aimed at 2020PW for suggesting that I "Read the Owners Manual" in another recently active thread here in the PW Sub-Section. Previously, people have made a 'big deal' out of other Forum Members and demean them for...
I did read the Owners Manual for my first "Late Model" Power Wagon over a decade ago.
Having owned Four of them now, I have yet to destroy any gears while using it as designed while it is trying to lock. Matter of fact, the lockers on those trucks always flashed while in the process of...
Wow. How many miles are on the truck? Has it been exposed to deep standing water for extended periods, a bunch of water crossings or anything that might accelerate the wear?
My previous 2013 PW was up over 75k miles before it's front wheel bearings required replacement. But that truck was...
His utility trailer likely only uses the 'Four Way Flat' connector, thus his automatic power extending / rotating rear view mirrors will have to be manually operated and moved to the vertical position if so desired.
If he were to either plug in the Seven Point trailer connector or manually...
This seems very premature for a one-owner (non-abused) truck with such low miles.
The only thing consistent is that it only does it after driving ten miles or more at freeway speeds.
The front axle u-joints 'look' good, not that much can be determined by simply looking at them. But, there is...
Still scratching my head and searching for the cause. Wasn't brake drag.
I can almost (?) feel it sort of catching and clunking in the front end now. Does it hard enough that the shudder sent through the truck can now be visible in the form of a vibration of the exterior rear view mirrors...
I've had Chrome with stick on body graphics, Chrome with no graphics and Satin Black with the graphics. I guess next time I will have to try for Body Color.
Where does that put me? Other than in the whole lotta lucky /spoiled category
You know... funny you should say that! I totally forgot the only other change from OEM components made to the truck was the installation of Slotted Brake Discs and the addition of EBC "Yellowstuff" Brake Pads at all Four corners some time back.
Very, very interesting suggestion. I guess the...
True. I don't think AH-64MTP would want to be forced to do that. Especially with such an nice, new, EXPENSIVE truck. And I would rather retain all of the functions, and just make them 'selectable' on the fly, from the cab. I will just wait for all of the warranty to expire, then do the Able...
There seem to be a lot of rear differential issues being experienced and discussed here.
Not finding anything precisely like what I am experiencing, what does everybody else think ?
I am wanting to get it diagnosed and repaired while still under warranty, though I am running out of time and...
Can you tell us what you think caused this and what the symptoms were, if any, other than the noise on deceleration? How many miles were on the truck?
Did you get it fixed, and how did that go?
Seems like a pretty extreme and odd failure IMHO
Sure sounds like a tire / brand - specific issue to me. I've run that size on stock and aftermarket wheels in Goodyear, Nitto and Kenda without issue on the Power Wagon.
The stock Goodyears on factory 2018 PW wheels were the ones with the most mushy sidewall deflection on the road. And the...

Back Again! It's been about Six years, so I thought I was pretty much over due to post some new stuff.
Fresh new videos will be posted soon. Various items, but Off Road Power Wagon, M9998 Humvee and Motorcycle Touring will be the primary topics.
Unfortunately, it seems Youtube has locked...
