    Yeah, those turbos are bolted directly to the manifolds that cast in to the head. The 3.6 Pentastar has the same style heads with manifolds cast in to them.

    Or they know that 95% of people never use the dipstick, or even know how to use it, regardless of it being there or not. And having a warning/level pop up on the EVIC gets people's attention. Sure the dipstick is cheap, but the sensor they're replacing it with costs more.

    You might be thinking of the pentastar 3.6. But looking at photos of the 3.0 Hurrican you might be right. It looks like the turbo's are bolted directly to the head. They should spool pretty dang quick like that.

    Why are people concerned about trans fluid levels? Is your trans leaking? If so, get the leak fixed. If not, then the fluid level will not change. It's a sealed system.

    Was just going to post this. Audi, Mercedes, some BMW engines, Volvo, all don't have trans or oil dipsticks. I'm ok with the ZF8 not having a dipstick. But engine oil on a truck, especially work trucks used in the field, it's kind of needed. Maybe the aftermarket will come out with a solution.

    It probably will, in a future model year. Just like they didn't release a software update to enable AA/CP on the 8.4 until 2018. For 2017 and prior years, well, you just have to buy a 2018 truck for that feature.

    You realize 2023 models came out at the end of 2022? Regardless, I used to drive 117 miles round trip to work every day. I'd easily put 700-750 miles a week on my truck between work, errands and fishing. I was changing my oil every 2 months.

    Rocking sideways motion, I have a 2016 ram 1500 bighorn and when towing my 30' camper I can feel a sideways rocking motion.

    Check the rear sway bar bushings and links on the truck. Even if they aren't worn I highly recommend the Hellwig adjustable rear sway bar. It's significantly more beefy than the stock sway bar and makes the truck feel more planted while towing.
