    2500 6.4 Cold Start

    Bought this truck used on Saturday. Not having owned a 6.4 before I have no idea what "normal" sounds like. That being said, on a cold start my truck sounds awfully ticky and squeaky. And no matter how warmed up it is there's always this sound of an exhaust leak. Took a vid, give it a listen.

    Large Recall for Cruise Control

    Oil Temp

    Just curious if anyone else is seeing higher oil temps in newer trucks? My old 2013 5.7 with the 6 speed would usually run about 208-212 oil temp unless I was towing. Then it'd go up to 224-228, depending on outside temp. Current 2017 5.7 w/ 8 speed truck runs 225-230 just driving normally...

    3.55 anti-spin rear diff whining like a supercharger. What's the general cost to have it rebuilt? Is it worth rebuilding? Should I just find a pulled whole axle assembly and swap it? or just burn the fugger to the ground and go buy another truck? :word:

    Code P0628

    Truck is throwing a P0628. Says low voltage to the fuel pump control module. Do I need to replace that module or something else? If I do get a replacement module will a dealer need to program it to work with my truck? first code my truck has thrown in 89k miles. I can't complain about that.

    Oil temp when towing

    Something I noticed when towing my TT is oil temps get up to 230-240. That seems a bit high. Trans temps are fine, don't think I've seen them go over 170. Worth investing in a second oil cooler?

    Oil temp

    What is the normal operating temp of the oil supposed to be? Mine used to hover around 200. Today on my drive home from work it spiked up to 220 and never got below 210. Outside temp is in the low 60's. Never seen this happen before.
