I had mine off a couple of years ago to remove air suspension. No rust underneath although my truck is sprayed with Krown yearly.
I really wanted to advise you to either paint the fakemeout bolts either body coloured or blacked out
The chrome kills the sport look!
I also hated the chrome slats , as well as the chrome badges and lettering on my sport. I removed the lettering and replaced the badges with black.
I tried numerous paints for the slats but nothing would stick.
I eventually found a guy on kijiji that was selling his complete chrome grill with...
Geez, I’d think you’d be able to feel that noise by putting your hand on moving parts.
Is that video with the tire off the ground? Just recreate that on jackstands with someone holding the parts instead of a camera.
I only have a 23 foot hybrid that probably comes in at 55-6000 lbs loaded.
I ordered the 35% heavier rear coils and the Rough Country levelling fronts. (As others have said the RC’s live up to their name.)
The trailer pulls and tracks fine. I do have Airlift HD bags in the coils but can...
Airdelete was who I went with.
Pros: everything needed came in one shipment
Included alpha obd to delete messages if desired.
Easy to follow instructions and great feedback from the owner I think his name was Brendan??
No more waking up and finding the truck sitting on its bump stops.
Cons...
Did you get all the part numbers and info when you had the illegal delete done?
Unfortunately I think your SOL after the fact getting part numbers but hopefully the mechanic makes good on his “warranty “ promise.
Good luck!
I’d go with the bottle jack/stand that Turkeybird posted used under the axle. A six inch lift still leaves your axles at near stock height, it’s just the tires raising the axle clearance and it would only be one inch difference going from 33’s to 35’s.
I just had a rattle can made up for my daughter’s Venza at Napa. I did find it cheaper at Canadian tire after the fact though made by Duplicolor.
You just need to find your paint code for that colour
Be aware black is very unforgiving for crappy prep work, hopefully it’s in an out of site spot...
We bought it with the expectation it would work as advertised and do the job expected of it.
My compressor was replaced once under warranty and once on my dime to the tune of $2400.
Finally it was diagnosed with 2 leaking rear bags so I figured it was time to repair it for good.
Therefore...
As far as the collision warning system.
I was pricing a new Power Wagon online and noticed it’s marketed as a “full speed collision warning “
Leads me to believe it won’t work in bumper to bumper traffic.
We just purchased a Mazda and don’t get any warnings if creep up to the garage door but it...
My 09 with coils was a smooth comfortable ride. Same with my 14 with air ride. I’d say no difference in those two.
When I deleted the air I opted for the heavier towing coils and cheaped out with Rough Country struts. Definitely rougher (hence the name apparently).
Nope , sorry no references.
Just passing along misinformation apparently.
I can’t see where I suggested it uses less energy?
Maybe it will cool the air but at least I can tell it’s working if there’s something inside.
Just a couple of my thoughts, I’ve always considered the truck to rv as a maintainer as opposed to a charger.
I make sure the battery is charged on AC before we leave.
I also travel with the fridge running although I will ensure I don’t have to refuel with the trailer connected.
Lastly to...
It’s definitely not going to hurt to flush the core but I seriously doubt it will resolve your issue. The heater core doesn’t decide which way to direct heat.
I’d recommend diagnosing blend doors first.
To me your tread wear looks like you may have a teenage son.
At least that’s what my dads tires looked like back in the day….
But even I may have had an issue with spirited driving in a dually
Like BlackGold mentioned, it’s pretty common in the off-road community to use them in large tires. It’s also common to soak them in antifreeze so they don’t chunk up in freezing weather.
Golf balls have also been used in monster tires …..
I’ve searched high and low for a scientific study on organic mouse repellents.
Anything I’ve seen is just anecdotal evidence ,as are all the treatments suggested so far.
Personally the only mice issues I’ve had have been in my house. These were remedied by sealing all ingress points and...
