Thank you Arth, Yes the GMC had a manual primer and I expected to find something similar on my RAM but I guess not. This video was perfect to explain how to do it. Hopefully I never need it, but better to have the info and not need it than to need the info and not have it. Thank you.- CDN Ram

I've seen this video before and that was my worst thought when the tire left the truck. I know it wouldn't have been my fault but I'm glad I don't have to live with that having happened.- CDN Ram

They were torqued by the dealer when the tires were installed, re-torques 240 kms later by the dealer and verified by me with my torque wrench when I got home after the re-torque. That was 6000 kms ago and they haven't been verified again after that but they shouldn't come loose on their own...- CDN Ram

These were re-torqued about 200 miles after they were first done. But I agree most people don't do this. Oddly enough this is close to what the tech thought except he asked if I had pissed anyone off lately. RAM does recommend it after 200 km's I think. And yes it could have ended up MUCH...- CDN Ram

The Truck is at RAM and they are removing all three of the other wheel to have a look a the studs then re-install and torque. while they do the repairs- CDN Ram

Nope never found the escaping tire. It made a clean get away. Not torqued properly, after 3800 miles? I think it would have had problems prior to now. But hey you never know i guess.- CDN Ram

That what I think as well, but I drove it several times this weekend and all worked as normal. I wonder if a low battery would cause this malfunction?
