    Can't speak to any of those other brands, but I am Nitto for life. Put Trail Grapplers on my 04 and had fantastic luck with them. Since then that is all I have ran on trucks, Jeep, and wife's car. Have the Ridge Grapplers on current truck and so far I love them.

    All the capacitor is doing (if that is what you are calling a cylinder) is storing up power for the times your amp really pulls some power. In that instance all it is doing is preventing it from basically "bottoming out" your power system in your truck. If all you are running is a 500 watt...

    The power wire running to your amp isn't the problem unless you don't have it secure in the amp. All the larger wire is doing is making sure you are getting plenty of power to it. Now if you were running too small of a wire that could be a problem.

    Ok, but the only thing running to the HU to the amp should be the remote wire. It could possibly be that but I doubt it. Unless your ground is crap, or something is up with the power, but your whole sound would be going out then.

    Like it better. Don't like the 06-08. Lights are too big for my liking. I think the 03-05 fit these trucks better. JMO though. Columbia area.

    Are your lights dimming in your truck? Guages? Anything. What is your battery guage reading when it does it?

    Where is your amp mounted? Is it going into safe mode? Depending on where it is at, it could be getting too hot and going into safe mode. May check that. SHould be a light lighting up that says safe.
