Even 4wd with LSD in the rear is more effective. I wouldn't pass on a truck that didn't have it if it was a decent deal, but I wouldn't actually order one without it.
I had paint bubble up on my driver's side fender from contamination while painting. Dealer had the fender changed and been ok since. The whole paint job though is nothing to write home about compared to the paint jobs other manufacturers put on similarly priced vehicles.
For about the same money why not just upgrade the rear coils?

These are variable rate so the truck still rides good unloaded, but give increase support when you need it. They don't cost much more than air bags and they won't leak on you. Similar to what the jeep rubicons use...
I'd be inclined to give these a crack for the price/features:

Fluid Level Check — Six-Speed Transmission
It is best to check the fluid level when the transmission is
at normal operating temperature (170-180°F / 77-82°C).
This normally occurs after at least 15 miles (25 km) of...
Caps are tough to sell used. I wouldn't buy one unless you really think you want one. If you're going to rent a trailer to tow the wife's car just lock your stuff inside her car.
On a new truck just keep it as clean as possible until rust starts to appear anyway. Then 50-50 mix of wd-40 and tranny fluid in a spray bottle. WD alone won't last, but will carry the tranny fluid everywhere and help it penetrate. Spray the undercarriage liberally once a year each fall. Do...
This looks like a great mod to do when I'm ready for front shocks. 20K miles now, so won't be long.......It may all work out as I should be ready for tires around the same time. Get it all done at once.
