Revs holding on too long after coming off throttle

Mine does this too, if I hit the throttle it sometimes takes the RPM's 5 to 10 seconds before it drops down but still takes a few more to settle back down completely. Very delayed with this truck on how the throttle drops in RPM's after a brief throttle increase.

    Ram rebel question

I see that the 2019 ram rebels are starting to hit the lots. I really do prefer the rugged looks of the rebel compared to the more basic look of the other trims especially the new front ends. But the only area where I just cant get past would be the red interior. Does anyone believe the 2020...

    Rebel compared to other trims

Offering that interior with the 4th gen rebel is really nice. Shows that ram understands that people are looking for the rebel but are unwilling to purchase with the red interior. But I'm surprised that they didn't at least offer two different interior variants for the 2019 right from the...

    Rebel compared to other trims

Hey, Long time viewer of the forums but wanted to post to see if others felt the same way. With the new Ram I am really liking the more aggressive look of the rebel, it also still shares the grill styling idea from the last gen Rebel which keeps a little relation. But I do wish it had more...

    Back door locks/windows not working

I installed a completely new audio system in my truck from head unit, new component speakers, and an amp. Running the new speaker wire through the grommet in the front door was a pain, but the back door was near impossible. I eventually got it to feed through, 12 gauge wire. But now that I...

    Advice on installing door speakers

I actually went with 2 pairs of infinity Reference 6030cs components. They are a great fit in the door with the 6x9 bracket and I can mount the tweeter on the bracket. Keeps everything hidden like I wanted and they have great reviews overall. The head unit will come next and then the amp...

    Advice on installing door speakers

By looking at that chart it seems as if the infinity kappa 52.11i (5 1/4) will be a very close fit, that is adding in the mounting bracket that will have to be put in. The 62.11i (6 1/2) will push into the speaker grill for sure with the mounting bracket. That is a good idea though I will try...

    Advice on installing door speakers

Spoke to the rep one more time. He was pretty certain that the speakers would not fit and provided dimensions for why they wouldn't. I'm thinking a component set is my best bet. Will putting the tweeter in the dash work and will two tweeters in the dash fill the whole cabin? Or does the rear...

    Advice on installing door speakers

Yes it is the tweeter that the guy at crutchfield is claiming will touch the speaker grill. But I am wondering if they are for sure of this or just playing it safe because it will be close and just running with the "it will not fit."

    Advice on installing door speakers

Appreciate the tips. The rep said that it isn't the depth of the speaker that is the issue but it is the top of the speaker that sticks out too far. It presses against the stock speaker grill. Is the rep playing it safe and it's just close most likely or should I go about other options if...

    Advice on installing door speakers

I have a 2009 ram 1500 Quad cab and I am finally going to upgrade the audio in it after owning the truck for two years. I am looking at the infinity Kappa 62.11i door speakers but crutchfield says they do not fit. the depth is fine but the top of the speaker will press up against the grill...
