Propane conversion
Anyone here has done the propane conversion. I'm just curious about number. I've done the conversion 1 year ago and has no regret. Not a perfect system, but nothing major even with -35C° temp I guess that in the US it must be less popular than here in canada with a liter between 1.25$ and...- danmp

White smoke on start
No normally there is at least 15 minute at off, before I start it again. And when it does the white smoke it was off for about 20-25 minutes.- danmp

Anyway it's still on full waranty for 3 years. But what it's weird , is that the truck was at his operating temp. I was using the truck since 5 am, and it was 3 pm with about 25 on and off cycle. I will ask my dealer when they will change the manifolds, maybe they could see something.- danmp

Hope it's only water in the exhaust. But that was a huge cloud of smoke. Could not see behind the truck in the right mirror at that time. What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?
I installed my strobe and arrow kit I will need for my work for the next 3 year. LNG conversion?
I know they are reliable in some vehicule ,and its cost effective. The propane here is at least half the cost of the regular gas. My biggest fear what it does on long term on a hemi engine. Did you know if one of them have reach 150 000 km or more with that setup? That's my biggest fear. Also if there is a trouble with the engine ( even if the propane is not the cause of the engine failure ) for example, a bad lifter, manifold or any problem that I would have even without the...- danmp

the conversion is about 5000$(cad) around here it's 40-70% cheaper ( depending of the time of the year) According to what I read considering it get a drop of mpg , it supposed to get a around 50% economy in price . I will pay the system in around 14 months according to them with my millage...- danmp

Yes, and that was only the beggining. Later it was real worse.
