I already had the 14” magnaflow muffler replacement, but was just looking for a little extra growl and I’d say it’s actually a bit too much for me. I find it sounds cleaner but lots of drone.
You’ll need to find one with a 3.5” inlet. I know mbrp makes a couple. I bought a cheaper rbp tip which is adjustable, but I wouldn’t recommend it as it had a bit of a rattle to it.
I had the same issue with mine, couldn’t get the clamp tight enough to seal it up and keep the tailpipe from moving. So I put the second provided clamp right in front of the stock one and tightened it right up. No problems since.
Magnaflow just came out with a direct fit muffler. I just ordered one so not sure how it sounds in person, but I was looking for the same kind of thing. I believe it’s #19493
I ordered a muffler and tips from carven in the states. A bit pricey but I’d go with them again in a heart beat.
Another option would be something like this
I did the same thing on my 13 bighorn. Turned out good.
When I had my 2500, I had a 2.5” level and ran 35’s on 20x10 -24 offset and they rubbed pretty good until I cut a chunk out of the plastic fender liner.
I’ve had 2 sets of toyo a/t 2 extremes and they are by far the worst tires in the rain that I’ve ever had, I’ve read a lot of good reviews on the Cooper at3’s so I just bought a set of them to try for the winter and so far they’re far better in the rain, and quite a bit quieter.
I was wondering about that, but I guess that's to be expected. I'm sure it being an m/t and narrower would make all the difference in the world. Just looking for something with better tread life and to not have to worry about sliding around or getting stuck in anything more than a couple inches...
I'm curious to hear how you like them in the snow? We're getting hammered and this will be the last set of at2's for me. Do you have any pictures yet? That's the exact size I'm looking at too, I'm torn between these and cooper stt pros.
I've really been looking into putting 37's on my truck. From everything I've read, it doesn't matter if you're stock height or levelled. You need a 9" wide wheel with a positive offset +18 to +30ish and a back space of 5" or more. With a bit of trimming to the pinch weld at the back of the...
