    Hey guys are the waits for new Ram builds just as bad as Ford? I ordered a new Ford back in December. Probably won’t have it until July or August. Thinking about ordering a Ram and taking which shows up first. And selling the other.

    2023 Gas 3/4 ton

    I have already had a 6.4 6 speed. I liked it. But the 7.3 Ford has much better specs. The 10 speed with 4:30’s vs 8 speed with 4:10’s being a big one. I put 4:88’s in my 6 speed to get it to pull decent. I would like to stay with Ram but the power isn’t up with Ford.

    Any news on the 2023 3/4 ton offerings? Any engine options changing? The 6.4Hemi specifically. I am planning on ordering a 7.3 F250 unless the gas engine gets improvements for 2023.

    My 6.4 6 speed with 4:88 handled 13k easily. Except for MPG lol I’m sure the 6.4 8 speed would be ok with 14k maybe get by with a 15k load. 20k? No freaking way. Buy a diesel.

    I just sold my 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman 6.4 only put 15,000 miles on it. Never one issue. I’m now looking at a 2014 3500 SLT 6.7 single wheel with 80,000 miles. Anything to be concerned about? Should I avoid this year? A thing I should look for?

    Need help again - transmission overheating while towing

    Here is my trailer. This trip it’s loaded heavy around 13k. Truck is a 6.4 with 34” tires and 4:88 gears. Up Sherwin pass in Bishop trans never got over 180. truck tows with ease, except the fuel mileage 5.7mpg

    If your going to do the install yourself that’s a good idea. But if you are a shop and a customer brings in his own parts that don’t always go very well. Kinda like taking your own eggs to Denny’s for them to cook.

    37’ tip to tip. Has huge kitchen/living slide plus master bed slide. Dual ac 150 gal fresh 40 gal fuel blah blah blah. It’s 10,000 dry with nothing in it.
