    Didn't swap gears out of the same axle. I had 3.55's in the original axle that came with the truck. I got another axle off of a 98 SS/T with the 3.92 gears. I'll probably just take it to a shop and have them look at it. Thanks.

    The only thing other than the bolts holding down the manifold is the fuel rail. Going to either have to get a fuel rail removel tool or a quick disconnect tool like shown in the pic. We used a 3/8" disconnect and it came right off. Remove the bypass intake coolant hose. It's a good idea...

    No me and my dad replaced the rear axle ourselves. Nothing was changed, just swapped axle for axle. I've also heard of to much slack in the pinion, but would it do that with time and wear?

    Well it took alot longer then I was expecting, but it is finally installed :D It looks great underneath there and sounds so much better! I punched it on the way home earlier and I swear it sounded like a turbo spooling :pedobear: So much badassness!

    What is the typical cost a shop charges to weld on a muffler and run some pipe back to dump over the rear axle? Going to get it done tomorrow and I got quoted $50. Pretty fair I think, don't ya'll?

    Well I already ordered it, to late... I think it'll sound pretty good though. I heard an exhaust clip of a Dakota with the 5.2 with the aero turbine and it sounded pretty badass
