I don't know if you fixed this yet or not but... You might as well buy the whole too control arm with the ball joint pressed in already, just a few bucks more and it will save you time. To remove the bottom ball joint you can you the clamp to press the head of it down, you will need a socket... -

I recommend to get the ball joint remover tool, it's deff. a time & work saver. -

door costs about 30 bucks id suggest you get an aftermarket ( the one that made out of metal)you won't have to replace again. -
Map Light Housing and Air Conditioner Problems
On the 4.7 I heard that the connectors under the steering wheel column tend to be a problem, try wiggling the plugs under your steering wheel with the A/C on and see if it come on and off as you're moving it.
