I relive those days vicariously through the bassheads around me lol. This is in my driveway right now...
4-18”s on 30k Watts.
14-8” midbass throughout the cab
Have to add a lil flare to the top.
I don’t have many progress pics of the rest of the process cuz I would up getting staph infection in my thumb and had like 2 days to get this wrapped up for a show. I basically finished it one and a half handed.
The truck has a hulk theme so the...
I would be down to build another. I’ll shoot you a pm in a bit and we’ll see if we can work something out.
I think it was right at 12”. 10s would def for forward firing, 12”s would be a stretch

Thanks... the 8s were a little lacking in the lows, not terribly tho. Owner goes to a ton of shows so he was mostly Looking to change up the look, while adding a little more oomph to it
Once I got the perimeter built I made a router sled to to plane the top to get it perfectly flat.
Then cut the holes for the plexi glass.
Next was the double baffle and to come up with something that would cover the hole in the carpet where the cup holders were.
And the test fit...
What’s up y’all, been a few years since I’ve been here. Had an extensive build log of my 12’ ram, and wound up totaling it and getting a new vehicle.
I recently did an install for a buddy who wanted to raise the bar for underseat enclosures, so I’ll share what we came up with.
The first build...
Oops, missed that one lol. I totaled the truck in 2016 but up to that point, I had zero issues/complaints with the suspension. I would purchase them again
Besides the 13 band EQ in the head unit, there is none. Didn't seem to be too
Much of a concern last time so I doubt anything will change this go round.
Lol, didn't catch the comment so you got a free pass.
Not sure why the thread got put there in the first place so looks like we're all...
Yea, fun build for sure. I like the fact I can live vicariously through these spl guys.
They won't be sealed and he'll be running Rockville, pro audio speakers.
Really sensitive and can handle gobs of power. The 4 he has in each door now are ear peircing loud.
I agree %100, but I'm not gonna try to teach them otherwise. The SPL scene is huge around here so it's just one dude trying to out do the next.
And like you said... Mo moneys!
The last pic is about what I decided to roll with. Best combo of fashion:function I could come up with.
So I started cutting all the frame pieces
Getting creative with templates for the window with company logo
Now we have the frame, I cut the pine baffle to test fitment...
Yoooo, been a while but I'm back, but not because I bought a RAM tho. I just began an update to a previous build. Found here...

You could just buy a new pioneer to ram harness for the head unit, then cut the wires going into the amp and splice into the wires coming out the amp.
Would save from having to even run wire to the amp from the head unit.
Without a doubt. Took me years to figure that out.
Most say it's unecessary but I'm a fan of overkill. I like my doors to feel like bank vaults when they shut.
Only difference is how difficult it will be to get the door panel back on. 1/8 ccf is sufficient

Deadener.....
No need to remove the inner door card. Use the speaker hole and the other hole in the door to feed it through. u should be able to get enough in there for it to be effective
Good deal. I meant mid range. I'll be using them in a 3 way setup. I've Only heard them on my desktop setup for a couple days and was very pleased with them. I'll be running from 300ish to 5k or so.
Go t ur eq and move some of these down until u like the way it sounds
How do you like those? I was trying to find a small format wideband driver for my pillars and those were on my short list. I wound up with the audiofrog gb25.
My ears were ringing.....U should be ok tapping the front doors and dash speakers for the ms amps. Still regret getting rid of
Mine. Sweet little amps.
