IMHO every vehicle should have a tow point on front and rear. Cars use to have a spot you could screw a I bolt into. Not so much nowadays. I agree with op you need a way to hook a tow rope up to every vehicle even if it is to help the rollback truck load up repositions lol
Hello also from the "panhandle " you may want to invest in a dash cover. Had a truck around that year. They don't like our hot Florida sun. (Dash, hood and roof paint seems to succumb to the heat the quickest. It was a 1 ton 4x4 so it didn't fit in a garage sat out side 24, 7)
Sounds great to me but I certainly wouldn't buy the first year. Let someone else be a genypig.
Would like to know what the gpm is when using engine to generate the power needed. Is it as good as an ice pickup with the v6?
Like many people have stated locomotives use it so it must be an...
I agree with post above. Best fix is probably new clamps or cables. But a poor man's fix to get you back home could be the spot on clamps that are touching not allowing you to close them anymore you can shave/cut some of that led away so you can squeeze more. A even easier/quicker not...
My thoughts on this is your buying 4 wheel drive to not get stuck and paying slot for that feature up front and forever with poorer fuel milage. Limited slip also helps you not get stuck. It is cheaper and does not drop your fuel milage. So yes get it. You know without it you could get stuck...
I have to tell this story with all the open door and backing up talk. I was a paramedic dispatched to a hit and run. I beat the FHP to the scene the 16 year old hit was having a seizure so we loaded him up and got going to hospital. It should be noted he was not on the road but in his front...
It's a car but I hit a pot whole got abs red light came on and several messages started scrolling on dash, no power stearing, no abs, no Electronic stability control.
Ended up being it knocked a magnet out of front hub so no speed sensor info from front left tire. So computer just quit doing...
If one cylinder has low compression, try pouring about a teaspoon of oil into the spark-plug hole and retesting. If compression increases, it's likely the rings are stuck or worn. The oil acts as a seal and helps close the gap between the rings and the cylinder wall through which the cylinder is...
If a major repair to a vehicle was no big deal. And they were as good as new. Used vehicles that had wrecks on their car fox would sail for same price as vehicles that have not. Frame repair on a truck that is used as a truck is definitely a no go in my experience.
Article said something about broken glass on ground. I wonder if that was window of car and they got under dash and not under car as that seems impossible. Or it was inside being on show room floor and glass was from building? And they forgot they had fast forward view wile watching security...
They certainly are looking for a skinny thief if he crawled under the car. Also young it would take me more than 2 minutes to crawl under a truck lol. Man I hate thieves. If/when a thief is caught they get a light sentence because it's not a "violent " crime.
My truck is a 2015 so maybe completely different but the passenger seat belt warning is up by the rear view mirror. Next time it beeps look at passenger seat belt warning light to see if it's on. Could be it's malfunctioning.
I'm no mechanic just guessing but the computer is using 02 sensors to adjust fuel mixture (like we use to manually do with adjusting choke) so perhaps you need to replace 02 sensors.
You could jack up back of truck, using jack stands, put in drive and speed that causes vibration if you get vibration take back tires off test again. You could at least rule out tires/rims that way.

Hope link works first time I've done that. If not you're right it's Scotty Kilmer video title is "never do this when changing your oil"
I do take what he says with grain of salt do to him bashing about every brand particularly dodge but he loves him...
Scott Kilmore just did a YouTube video on this, he's no fan of ram so wouldn't be surprised if many on this forum don't follow him (he seemsto love Toyota). But he said engines no longer send ALL the oil to filter just some of the oil so your engine won't go without oil for the second it takes...
My 2014 won't back up if door is ajar and you don't have your seat belt on. Maybe the cold weather is causing door button not to signal door is closed. Of course if you have seat belt on this should not be activated anyway.
Ahhh the front don't match the back. My first vehicle I had was a 67 dodge truck. They even had a tool ledge under the hood to lay your tools on lol. That's how thoughtful engineers were back than.
