    1 problem might be bad gasoline, I changed gas and don't have any problems. I run 89 tune.

    I had same problem and same codes. I cleared them and they came back, I thought it was a coil maybe going bad or a spark plug problem.... Here IS THE KICKER. I took it to the dealership. IT IS actually a SOFTWARE upgrade that you need. It was covered under warrenty, a recall.

    That is what happened to me last month on a trip in Arizona. it was the solenoid pack in transmission, was covered under warranty, there is a recall, take it to dealership is your best option at this point.

    if it was actually misfiring, it was hardley noticeable. It did seem slightly rough, but now it is running better than ever. I cleared the code my self 5 times before taking it in. My shorty header bolts were also re tightened.

    Having the misfire code P0300 for the last month just took it to the dealership this morning and it turns out the fix was a software update. All this time I thought the coils were going bad. All the work with covered under warranty. Truck is running 100% again!

    I would like to thank the fine folks at CHAPMAN Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in SCOTTSDALE Arizona. These guys diagnosed my truck at 830am and had it repaired by 3:40 pm on a Saturday, they squeezed me in after I called late friday afternoon. This work was done under the powertrain warranty!!!
