Hello all. I'd like to tap into my overhead console (2010 2500 CTD) to power a Garmin GPS mounted next to the RVM.
Can I do this easily, and if so, what should I do?
Thanks!
Is there anything I should be aware of when installing new batteries in my 2500 CTD?
I figured I would replace one, then the other to prevent power loss to the radio, etc. Will this work? Anything else?
I need to remove my tow hooks to install a light-bar bracket, then reinstall.
Does anyone have a how-to on how this is accomplished? I figured I'd ask before I just start turning bolts. Thanks all.
Okay, now I get it--these are what I'm missing (maybe not the exact p/n):
I can send you the kit I have and $4 for the lock you mentioned above if that works.
Thanks.
I have a new (to me) tailgate that is keyed to another truck.
I would like to re-key it so it will work with my key. I have MOPAR part #68211624AA (the lock cylinder kit) but I don't know how is is configured.
Can anyone help? Thanks all.
Has anyone set their CTD dual battery up for external solar charging?
If so, please tell me about it. What did you use, and how was it done?
I'm considering a semi-permanent installation, with the wiring and controller permanently installed in the truck and the panels on an RTT.
Thanks all.
Two of my local Line-X dealers finally responded to my request for a quote to get my 6'4" bed sprayed, under the rail and minus the tailgate (it's being removed).
Both dealers quoted about $700 for the basic, black liner; almost $900 for UV-stable and colored options even more.
What kind of...
My 2010 2500 has steel cargo rings in the four corners of the bed (not the plastic cleats).
Anyone know what these are rated for?
Might they be sufficient for a slide in camper of less than 1200#?
Thanks all.
I have a 2010 CTD SLT that has 72K miles, no rust and the interior shows like new.
I need it (or something like it) to tow a boat/trailer, so I can't just get rid of it. I would be trading for a 2019+ RAM if I did.
It's still worth quite a bit and I'm wondering if I should trade it while it's...
Funny. That's why I'm replacing mine.
Aftermarket fenders don't have them, which is no surprise since it obviously costs money to put it there. They do make a difference, though. You can tell just by tapping on a Chinese fender (which are thinner to begin with).
