Thanks man. I just picked up the Dakota a few months ago...42,000 original miles...I looked for about 2 years before I finally found it. That is quite the build-up you got there!
Now has a correct front bumper and lifted the front 2 more inches with new shackles...I swear the previous owner was a total idiot....he had one of the leaf Springs tack welded to the frame.
If it is the np435, 2nd through 4th is synchronized, 1st and reverse arent. 1st is granny gear. Just from my experience with mine, it's much less forgiving with shift points than other manual cars I've had. Can't really say I've experienced the clanking noise you mentioned...gear synchros could...
Hey just a heads up, those center caps from your sport wheels will interchange with the srt replicas. Did that to mine when I had srt wheels. Glws love those wheels.
Not sure how big your level is, but you may have to trim the plastic covering the pinch weld, in the wheel well. Ran 2.8 bilsteins with 35s and I had to trim to avoid rubbing. This was with -12 offset wheels (22x10)
Yeah but most of it will come as I do repairs. Just put black housing headlights in today. I need to replace the suspension and will eventually build the motor up. I would like to get a sport bumper or do a fourth gen HD bumper conversion.
Hey guys. I have the option to swap my current wheels for my old powder coated black sport wheels. Could anybody photos hop this? Not sure which set would look better. Thanks
Oh and I know I took someone's pic of the black sport wheels....sorry :)
This is the third Dodge truck I have at the house now...starting to look like a dealership. I still have the 2013, but contemplating giving it up for a challenger...we will see. This is my 2000 off road edition. Only mod so far are the wheels.
