    99 Ram 2500 2 wheel drive360/auto. Been putting some work into it to get it back to as new condition. Traded a Miata for it. It’s been a super nice running truck aside from some stupid mods that were done.

    Spent 6 hours yesterday washing, clay bar, cleaning tar off her, and doing the 3 step black wax treatment. Lordy what a project. Also, what do yall think of the tool box. Wife thinks i should polish it up and add some l.e.d. clearance lights to it. Add a little Big Rig style to it.

    Yup. Headlights are dim as shit. Tail lights not so much since they are red it doesnt take as much color to make them dark. Im planning to add some l.e.d. driving lights where the tow hooks are currently. Shes mostly a garage kept toy so i dont drive it at night much.

    All the same processes are required to produce gasoline, except the massive use of fuel and energy required to drill and harvest oil from the ground. Also corn burns cleaner, hence better for the environment.

    I was just tired of driving junk, I didnt really dig the 2 tone at first, but the more i look at it the more i like it. My first black vehicle that wasn't spray bombed, so now i gotta go get a whole bunch of detailing products now lol.

    Replaced the pitman arm today. It got better but still not perfect. Heading out to get tie rods tomorrow since they were pretty loose. May as well do the idler arm too. Then i can schedule it for an alignment and balance the wheels while they are at it.

    Ive got the same problem with my 99 2wd 3.9. Im very interested to hear some opinions on this. My VSS is in the side of the tranny though. I replaced it to no avail.

    Ive read up on the 2wd death wobble and it is fairly common, and appears to be pitman arm and idler arm issues. Rock Auto has Moog parts cheapy cheap. Just ordered both manual window regulators and new crank arms for 90 shipped. Great prices.

    I will, as soon as i fix it. I screwed up and didnt change rollers between coats and using an oil based paint like rustoleum, the roller disintegrates in about an hour. So when i did the second coat it left chunks of foam all in it and was really runny. I can clean it up and post a pic though...

    Yesterday spent 3 hours at the DMV getting it registered, then took her for her first drive with the new rims/tires on it. Fixed the no bus thing on the odometer, p.o. didnt put the guage cluster back in all the way and the pins werent connecting on the back. Ordered new manual window regulators...

    slight update. Been rattle canning panels that the p.o. spray bombed with dollar store flat black, also found a smoking deal on some new shoes. had to trim the rotor a bit and my center caps wont fit. Stock height rolling 275/55/20 Pirelli Scorpions.
