engine oil cooler?
Today I took 400 pounds about 40 miles. Ambient temp 82F. 545RFE, 4.10 final gears. Miles 10-25, I drove 80 mph. Engine oil temp 212. Miles 25-35, I drove 85-90 mph. Engine oil 213. Trans temp 141. Miles 35-40, I drove 55ish. Engine oil temp 212 Coolant temp was consistently 199-204.- RLJ10X

2017 Dodge Ram fish tailing
Started fishtailing after pitting a 3 1/4 inch leveling kit on it. Gosh, darn, I just can't figure out what's the problem. Unless you really, really know what you're doing, leave the suspention alone. It's a delicate balance and easily messed up.- RLJ10X

I think where you live has an impact on mpg. I've gone thru Colorado and Wyoming, and always seem to get 2-3 more mpg. By the time I get back home here in Indiana, with the high humidity and the corn gas, my mpg stink again. You can see my mods in my Sig. It would appear that I've done...- RLJ10X

Boost a Pump install, which is the Fuel Pump Power wire?
I've posted this before, but it bears repeating. For the Head Unit oil change procedure, get a big plastic syringe from Amazon and draw the oil out. It takes all of 5 minutes, if you go slow.- RLJ10X

They'll probably have a forklift where you buy the safe. Unloading, you won't have the whole 500 pounds on the tailgate at one time. Or..... My motorcycle ramp weighs about 80 pounds. Most of that weight is on the ground, tho. But I ride 400 pound sport bikes up and onto the back of my truck... -

If both trucks have he 8 speed, and similar electronic package, I would think you take EVERYTHING from the donor truck and swap it over, and in theory, you'd be good. The electronics is going to be the hard part. You have a lot of work ahead of you. I hope it works out. Best of luck.- RLJ10X
