    It's surprising that this rather simple question has not received a simple answer. Start the truck, let it warm with the heater turned to maximum and then open the bleeder on the right side of the engine next to the EGR. Air will come out and then coolant. (Photo of 6.7L Cummins.)     OK, it's clear I am going to need to figure this out eventually. I have my own amateur race and restoration shop, so I am not without skills, but I have never dealt with a diesel engine. I have trued looking at an electronic service manual, but navigating it seemed a nightmare. Haynes? Chiltons?
