Working alot unfortunately!
Any spare time I do have I try to spend with my daughter whose 15 months old now.
Hopefully buying a house in the spring and things will settle some and I can spend some time here again! My luck I’ll just end up busier with house projects.
Life has been pretty busy and I haven’t been able to spend any time here unfortunately.
Morimoto finally offering 3rd gen specific XB LED fog lights gave me enough motivation to finish my head lights for my 3rd gen
Will just go right to pictures!
Haven’t done much with my 2nd...
I have a pile of parts to retro my headlights sitting on my kitchen table and a bumper cover and grille that need to be painted, hopefully all done this spring.
And a recent picture
I have RGB rock lights that can pulse to music, went through a drive through Christmas light display that you tune your radio to a certain station and the lights around dance as well. People around us got a kick out of my truck participating.
I will say mine has seemed to have separated but still works. It just looks gross. I believe it may have been from being stored in a garage that was not heated.
I guess I can add a little bit of experience to this. I have used it on my wheels since I bought them 2.5 years ago. I apply it twice a year (spring/fall) and it makes my wheels extremely easy to clean. I spray them with a wheel cleaner and lightly agitate and they still look brand new.
This...
My headlights aren't as terrible as I was expecting. Built them just to look cool and the output is actually pretty decent so I'm not as hard pressed to find a really good fog light although I probably will.
I'd be pretty excited if I could fit a 3.5"
What are you guys using for fog lights?
I want to replace the factory fog lights on my sport as they are really the only chrome left on the front and the lenses are faded badly.
Thinking about mounting a set of 70mm Morimoto XB but wanted to see if there are other options.
The truck is...
Not much change here but hopefully soon! I have a sport bumper cover and a grille waiting to be painted but that may wait till the spring now.
I have been paying more attention to my second gen recently, hope to have it driving by the end of next week!

Probably rub less than my Cummins does with 10" wide wheels, guess I'll start watching for another set of 37s
Current wheels will go back on for the winter
My truck has a 6" Fabtech lift and currently has 37x13.5x18 on moto metal wheels (guessing 9" wide)
Would I be able to fit 37's on 20x12s or should I go down to 35s?
I know monster transmission sells a good rebuild kit are there any others out there or should I just go with it?
Trucks a 99 with a 360, 6" lift with 37's and 3.55s right now (bought it like this)
