It was when I just started it. I spoke to some guys on Facebook who had the same issue. Dealer updated their TCM and no further issues. I’m taking mine tomorrow for the update
So I was parking my truck earlier in a parking spot - while still in drive and at stop, the truck jerked forward and throttled up slightly. It did it 2 or 3 times. I backed out, drove around a little to see if I could reproduce it and it did not. Very odd - had that happened when I was stopped...
Not the solution I'm sure but I have the mopar rubber floor mats that cover the whole rear floorboard when the seats are folded down. When I transport my dogs, I obviously put the seats up then I have a dog cover thing that I just lay across the rear seats to prevent dog hair. It doesn't keep...
I did the install today - It did lift it. Like mentioned I don't think it lifted it a whole lot, but it does look better in my opinion. I got about 1.5" of lift out of it on the max setting. I was at 36" in the front from ground to top of wheel well prior and am now at 38". My rear is at 38.5"...
Anyone know how to adjust the new LED headlights? I'll be putting a leveling kit on my truck tomorrow and will need to aim the headlights back down some. Looking where the normal adjustment bolt is, I don't see the opening anywhere. Any ideas?
Dont know about the trailer lighting, but I'd just grab power from your cargo lights. The power wire SHOULD be running in the channel next to the driver seat. That way, you can either turn them on from the inside switch, your key fob or when you open your door. And they'll turn off by themselves...
It can be done absolutely. Just depends on how you want to wire it so they come on automatically or via a switch, stock or aftermarket switch, whichever you prefer.
Thanks everyone. Just hit 100 miles on it, already have bilstein 5100s ordered to level it, tonnea cover on, window tint scheduled and that's it for now. Until my bank account builds back up lol
has anyone tried the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks yet? I see someone mentioned that 2018 4wd options will fit 2019 2wd and 4wd trucks no problem - I ran those on one of my previous trucks and loved them! Might do the same on my new '19.
informative - I need to pull my grille off to put some lights on, this is nothing like the 4th gen where 4 bolts off the top and that was it. Way more involved, but not hard. Thanks for this!
well, after about 10 months being in a Dodge Charger, which is a great car - it was time for me to get back into a Ram and have some more room. Picked up a 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn sport appearance package. Beautiful truck! From reading on here I see some people had some issues with their 2019s...
I appreciate all the help everyone. I unfortunately bit the bullet and traded the truck in. After everything, including how FCA pretty much gave us the finger, I just didn't want to continue with the truck. Like I mentioned, there were some other smaller issues the truck was having that helped...
Ya, it's going to hurt since I'm only like 4 months into the loan. So no doubt I took a depreciation hit as soon as I drove off the lot. We'll see though. I may go look at something smaller and cheaper, something I can pay off in a couple years to get me right side up again.
