Max tire size on 2014 PW
So what would be the max tire size I could go with on the new PW, it comes stock with 285/70r17. Is there any reason I couldn't put 295/70r17? They about 1/2" taller and .40" wider, would I still be able to disconnect the sway bar? Toyo MT makes one and its a little cheaper than stock size, I...- Kbhowe1

How's the 6.4 in the new PW
I love it, so far haven't done any engine upgrades but I consitantly get 14-15mpg empty and have more than enough power. The fan makes some noise but other than that I think it's a better match than last years 5.7.- Kbhowe1

Any problems with the PW duratrac tires?
Yes the truck actually vibrates. The noise level is great and traction is great, they are just hard to balance. I do want e rated tires so maybe I'll have some luck in selling these. Thinking about cooper max sst or toyo open country mt, I have had luck with both in the past on these heavier... -

Just wanted to share, here is a pallet of pellets (say that 10 times in a row) loaded in my PW with the timbren helper springs. It did squat a little but not as much as I thought it would.- Kbhowe1

Congrats on the purchase!! I've got a PW as we'll and love it. I test drove a tradesman with the 3.73 then drove the PW with 4.10's and it made a huge difference to me. My only 2 complaints are the payload on the PW (which I added the super springs to eliminate squat) and the fan noise. I feel...- Kbhowe1

What I found out for mine is they have the same axels, same brakes, and same frame as all the 2500's. The only difference is the springs are softer allowing for flex for off roading. My thoughts are if you help out the springs then you are not overloading the rest of the truck. I believe worst...- Kbhowe1

Yeah the sales guy told us payload was at least 2500 and said probably 3000. After I found out the tech in the back told me to put air bags and call it good. 2014 power wagon payload
Yeah the tires are rated at 3100 lbs, and there are 3 guys at my office that run D rated tires on their 2500 and 3500 trucks and have never had a problem. Put those timbren in today and wanted to show a pic. So far unloaded no change in ride at all, but probably won't have a load in it till...- Kbhowe1

So, the sticker on the door says front GAWR is 4700lbs and the rear is 6200lbs. Does anyone know what a regular crew, short bed, slt would show? I know I am overthinking this but I just want to know what would break if overloaded, obviously the axels and frame will be fine. , the brakes...- Kbhowe1
