I've decided to go with some Carven R Series mufflers on my dual setup. Hoping it won't be TOO LOUD. Resonators are already removed. Hoping the X pipe will smooth things out a little. Just waiting on mufflers to arrive then its a trip to the muffler shop.
Thanks for the comparison and image. Gives me some insights. My intention was to use the longer outlaws...they are 12" long in body length in comparison to 6" of the shorties....although not sure it will make a huge difference as there isnt much in it to begin with.

I've got a 2018 Ram 1500 with true duals from front to back. X pipe, 2 1/2" pipe with Thrust Rattlers to factory tailpipes with resonators removed.
One would think this setup is loud....but it isn't very. The single setup flowmaster super 10 with stock resonators and tips was WAY louder but...
I didn't notice ANY gains/losses (measurable anyways) when I just did the muffler change from stock to the Flowmaster. Liked the sound though....like it even more now with the true duals and the fuel mileage increase was a nice plus...
I"ve got a 2018 Laramie crew cab. Truck is bright white. Was looking for some new wheels for it...perhaps 20x9 with a 0 offset. Drive too much gravel and country road to go anything outside the factory flares so -negative offset will be too aggressive. 0 offset with a factory 275/60/r20...
I hear ya. Recently removed the crushed Y pipe and replaced with 2.5" pipes from cats back into an X pipe and then into a set of bottle mufflers (single chamber, non-glasspack) with stock tailpipes/tips with no resonators. This replaced my si/do Flowmaster 40 series muffler I had in it...
I realize this has probably been beaten to death, but I seem to getting mixed messages as to what exactly are the correct part numbers to upgrade my front/rear/dash speakers from the current alpine premium to the kickers.
