    CAM Swap Nightmare - looking for clarification

    Sounds like an install issue to me. The Comp 270 was installed on my 09 and I haven't had the slightest issue with it. As stated previously, if your already having issues with the cam, be sure to contact a Tuner who has done a 4th gen before. Has the shop installed a cam in a 4th gen hemi before?

    What brand ring and pinion?

    I have a 4wd. I bought all parts which was around $1200, then paid $700 in labor, screaming deal. Plus we did it on a Saturday, so I got to help out, I've never done a gear swap before so it was great learning experience.

    Gotcha. I run about 1700-1800 rpms at 60mph with just shy of a 35" tire. its not bad, I haven't seen too much of a mileage drop. I would say around 1mpg.

    3.92 would be better than 3.55, but why not 4.10? I swapped from 3.55 to 4.10 and I absolutely love it. I used motive gears and had the dealer install everything.

    I would look into gears. I just swapped to 4.10's and that is one of the best mods I've done.
