Steering stabilizer - what do I need?

Where is the stock one located? We looked and didn't see it. Anyone have pictures or diagram?

Steering stabilizer - what do I need?

Yes, 1500 but I'm under the assumption that the Bilsteins won't affect the springs in that sense because of their design. Basically the preload doesn't compress or extend the spring, it just moves it up or down, and the only thing that is really extending is the shock itself, which those are...

Any way to use non-OEM fender flares with mud guards?

Steering stabilizer - what do I need?

You can see my mods in my signature. I just ordered a SkyJacker 9000 to replace the OEM stabilizer. The guy at AutoAnything said that should be good since my tires are under 35" and I don't plan on going bigger. My questions are: Do I need dual, or will single work fine? Can I...

    Magnaflow muffler power loss

I installed a 14" Magnaflow a while back, and have been thinking about replacing it. I noticed a power loss right off the bat, and it seems my mpg dropped when I put it on too. Has anyone else had similar results? Only performance mods I have are Hemifever tune on 91 octane (using good gas)...

HELP! Truck will not tune or go back to stock. POS Diablo

Got an email from Sean, he said disconnect the battery, which I tried to no avail. Now I'm stuck in recovery mode, and I have to be at work at 6:30am 40 minutes from where I live. I'm frustrated for a reason. When is DS customer service hours? 8-5 my time zone, which is completely useless...

HELP! Truck will not tune or go back to stock. POS Diablo

Still will not do anything. Really need some help on this, and I know I'm not the only one who's had this issue. Can someone please give me some advice (aside from throwing this pos tuner away).

    Tuner question

Don't get a Diablosport anything. They are nothing but problems, extremely cheaply made. My truck is sitting and can't go anywhere right now bc of their products, and their customer service is only open during business hours, so I'm out of a truck until Friday because of their crappy products...

HELP! Truck will not tune or go back to stock. POS Diablo

I work 6am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, are their support hours after 5? I also don't have the computer cable. I've tried unhooking the battery for an hour, that did nothing. The truck is showing all error messages possible, and will not accept the stock tune at this point.

HELP! Truck will not tune or go back to stock. POS Diablo

Can anyone help??? I was trying to upload my Hemifever tune today, it went through all the steps, I know I did everything right, and then it said it failed due to an error and had to go back to stock. I tried that, and it said it couldn't reload the stock tune, and it's been doing this over...

DIY cold air intake - need your help!

I wound up running it right behind the plastic below the bumper with a 4 inch collector on 2 inch pipe and I can definitely tell a difference. I've taken a bunch of pictures, and will do a write up. What I've noticed, is it seemed to make the biggest difference in the city, as opposed to the...

DIY cold air intake - need your help!

Nevermind, that looks like a big task. I think for now I will route it so the collector sits basically flush with the back side of the plastic deflector below the bumper. Hoping the air rushing below the deflector will get sucked in the collector, creating somewhat of a ram air, without losing...

DIY cold air intake - need your help!

How do you do that? Where would the scoop go? I could probably rig that up with some of the stuff I have.

DIY cold air intake - need your help!

This is also why I'm wondering if I removed the snorkel and closed that hole, if that would force it to get the cooler air from down below. Only concern I have is if 2" pipe would be big enough if I didn't that.

DIY cold air intake - need your help!

Well, I've committed to my 2 inch idea, and the inlet for now will be sitting right behind the fog light area with a street elbow to face it towards the front so my truck won't throw mud into it, and it won't catch road spray. I'm taking a bunch of pictures and will do a write up. The way I'm...

DIY cold air intake - need your help!

Ok, so I started this project kinda wanting to create a new idea. Instead of going out the bottom of the air box with a 3" pvc or flex hose, I have all the piping and hardware to go out the front of the box, angled down, then angled again directly either behind the bumper to just get cold air...

    Installed Magnaflow, lost torque

How much is a torque converter with installation generally, and what exactly does it do? I also do not want to void the warranty or have it drive/shift like a race car haha.

Before and after - Morimoto xB LED fog bulbs 9006

I will try to get it done tonight. We have snow on the roads so I'm not sure how well the pictures will take.

Before and after - Morimoto xB LED fog bulbs 9006

Just an update - I matched these with 6000k Morimoto HID's and they look perfect. Do not get 5500k, it is noticeably different. I love this setup. Tons of light going down the road, off to the sides, and street signs are lit up WAY down the road. There's absolutely no comparison to stock...

    Installed Magnaflow, lost torque

I understand the point of power at the higher rpm due to better flow. After the tune, it has a lot of power on the highway especially. Pulls really well even over 80. Would a ram air setup benefit more from this exhaust being more free flowing? Seems in theory it would. I'm gonna be rigging...

Any way to use non-OEM fender flares with mud guards?

I like the look of fender flares, but I know generally you can only either have mud guards, or fender flares (non-OEM). I do have the OEM painted fender flares with Husky mud guards currently. Looking for something that stands out a bit more, and keeps a little more crap off the sides.

    Drop in filter, or CAI?

Well, I figure even if it winds up somewhere behind the fog light area, it will still be getting more, and cooler air. I have tow hooks, and I have fog lights, neither of which I want to remove, so I need to work around that. A lot can be done with routing pvc. If I can get this figured out...

    Drop in filter, or CAI?

What I have been thinking, is fabricate a 3" pvc adapter to the bottom of the snorkel off the airbox, then run a 3" pvc tube straight down towards the bottom of the engine bay, then use a 45 degree pvc adapter to face forward into the moving air. I would also somehow rig a way to cap off the...
