'25 Tungsten at the Minneapolis car show... didn't love it

My wife has a 2023 wagoneer with the pass screen. We have used it ZERO times in the last year and a half. They also come with the white interior which we opted not to get as we have 3 kids and a big dog. The Wagoneer also comes with the Turbo 6 (we opted for the 5.7 tho) so it sounds like they...

Inline tuner 2023 RAM 1500 Rebel 5.7L V8 Hemi eTorque

I've been looking at the pulsar XT... your saying these work on the 23 and 24 models with the etorque?

Diabosport Pulsar XT for 23-24 ram 1500 anyone run it?

OVERVIEW Pulsar XT is an all-new take on drivability and calibration for your 3.6L and 5.7L Ram 1500. Unlike any other device on the market, Pulsar XT is an innovative inline module engineered to keep your factory PCM untouched, with no PCM swap or unlock required. This is the most advanced...

Diabosport Pulsar XT for 23-24 ram 1500 anyone run it?

Apparently the edge pulsar doesn't work on the 23-24 ram 1500 with Etorque. They have a new version called the diablosport pulsar XT which is not an inline/piggyback to the PCM but something that communicates through the canbus and splits the gas pedal. It doesn't affect the tune so no "power"...

    Earth magnets on oil filter

Look up filter mag. I run that on a car and what it can stick to the side of the can is pretty Amazing. I don’t do it on my other 2 vehicles due to cost (they ain’t cheap) but a couple of rare earths works good to for visual inspections.

    airbox mod for cone filter

It's your truck so do what you want but you haven't done anything good here and prob hurt performance and reliability. The stock filter has more filter area than your cone filter, you've added a hard 90 to the intake track which reduces flow and acts like 4ft of straight tubing restriction...

Hemi tick: at least partly metallurgical

When I build a motor I soak the lifters for like 15-30min and stick them in. For me its more about the lubing the lifter bore as I use Permatex engine assembly lube when I build the motor and I don't want that coming off the cam lobes. On any motor I've ever built I always prelube the motor with...

Almost went with it bc of the OEM look but I wanted a dual camera setup and 4k.

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

It was the same on my 2018 and 2014. The seal is designed to curl and press against the cab. The cab and bed are not missaligned as the side seals are not touching the cab either and have a similar 3/16” gap or so. This is a common issue with the ram pickups. Most don’t care but it always leads...

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

Took everyone’s responses and formulated a compromise. So here’s what I did… cut the seal so it has about a 1/8-3/16” gap from the bed and doesn’t rub anymore but still covers 90% of the gap. Confirmed no wind noise today while on the highway or city driving. Let’s not forget that at the ends...

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

Ive been driving them since 2014 and can't say the same lol. I think all manufactures suck but I still prefer ram over chevy and ford. Ram forgot how to build a engine that doesn't eat lifters, break manifold bolts, hoods that don't bubble from the inside out, rear roof leaks, delaminating...

Water In Tray Under Rear Window

This is easy to prove. Timelapse a camera of the jug in your truck and we can all watch the magic happen!

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

Perhaps but for it to do a hard 90 at high way wind speed and pressure into that 1.5” opening after snaking around the tunnel insulation, gas tank, muffler etc seems pretty un likely. I agree that FCA wouldn’t invest in a seal it doesn’t deem necessary but I also question a lot about some other...

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

Did you have that new years horn wind noise? I put 50 miles on the truck and had no real noise with at least 8-10miles on highway going 80mph.

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

Also interesting that you brought that up. I had like 18” of snow and ice lodged in there that would have easily been where the vent was. I would think holding that frozen water where it could melt and enter the vent would also be a bad thing. People have complained about wind noise with no...

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

See attached green circle seal at the bottom of the bed where it meets the cab. You gain access from the bottom laying on your back.

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

Apparently a lot of the early 5th gens didn’t have them from the factory. https://**************/community/threads/cab-to-box-seal-missing.16598/

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

Upwards from wat? The only thing spinning there is the driveshaft and the muffler and gas tank block at least 60% of that opening/gap.

Remove your bed to cab seal asap!

General announcement to remove the lower bed to car seal on all 4th and 5th gens. I have less than 1k miles and have had the truck a month and just got around to doing it. Already wore through the paint a bit and I’m not 100% sure why ram does this. Would it be hard for FCA to apply PPF to that...

Maybe that’s how they got the tailgate to be so much lighter than the 4th gen’s.

    Repair or Replace

Some of you have never done body work and it shows lol. Painless might be able to get most of that out but not the creases and cracked paint. That small of a section for formed steel is more rigid than you think. Painless dent repair is not cheap around me but I don't see that coming out 100%...

Brand new truck only charging at 13.1v!?

Just wanted to update my charging as been all over the place but recently it has been between 13.9-14.7. I'm not sure maybe its bc I added a wireless light bar switch which causes a slight drain on the battery when it sits. I might need to wire that into a ignition 12v source.

2024 Limited Alpine 9-speaker saga continues...

Pass side up on the back wall like 2ft up. You have to drop the whole back of the seat to get to it. On the limiteds there is a pull strap on the lower models no such luck. You have to remove the whole seat to get to it.
