    If you understand what it can and can't do, then it's completely worth it. Don't coat a car and then think that's it, you have a magic force field, don't need to maintain it, etc.

    Go towards a sealant or coating rather than a wax. Dirt tends to stick to waxes a lot easier than sealants or coatings.

    Correct, but for it's intended purposes make sure the wheel has clear coat, otherwise it won't last as long nor protect as well.

    To answer your question, a regular coating will work fine on decals and PPF. You can also use PPF/vinyl specific coatings. I personally like CarPro UK3.0 and Skin.

    I logged in to look for this exact issue, mine started two days ago and I'm getting exactly what you're experiencing. It beeps as if a favorite is on and when I tap favorites the list is empty saying there's no favorite on right now, however I see favorites playing when scanning XM channels...

    They'll need to be compounded/polished out. If they are very deep, as in you can fell them with your fingernails then they may not come out completely.

    You can use whatever polish you use on your paint. if they are deep then step it up to a compound and/or heavier cut pad.

    Go with ultimate compound or ultimate polish if it's really light scuffing. Easily done by hand with a microfiber towel (short nap side) or microfiber application pad. All can be found at Wal-Mart.

    So I called customer care and they sent out a tow truck to tow it to the dealership. He jumped it to be sure it's the battery and it started so I drove to the dealership anyway to have it all checked out. It wouldn't start up while in the service line (lol) so they installed a new battery...

    Thanks for the quick reply. I'm assuming it's under warranty so I'll let the dealership replace it on Monday. Do I call customer care and they come tow it or do I have to get it towed in?

    You won't see CG products used by top level Pro's...there's a reason for that. I don't use a single CG product myself.

    I bought mine so I don't scrape across the seat as much getting in, causing premature wear on the leather. Also, you never know when a passenger, especially a female, will need it on the other side.

    Bed liners are a little beyond porous, like most plastic trim. You can get away with coating trim but I really doubt coating a bedliner, especially spray on, will do much of anything.

    You waste the coating. It needs to be applied on a smooth, non-porous surface.

    The only reason I am considering the dealership route is so it all goes under the factory warranty, otherwise I'd definitely try and piece together a cheaper option.

    So my dealership quoted me about $750 to install the class IV hitch, trailer break controller, and to flash computer. Does that sound about right?
