"People who criticize the ram boxes are generally those who have never had them."
You fit his sentence perfectly. What we need is someone to say I have had them and I would never get them again to refute his theory.
And even then he used the word generally, so there is room for error.
I'm not really brand loyal either although I would like to buy American if it is at least as good or better.
I am more dealership loyal. If a dealership has treated me right and I feel appreciated, I tend to stick with the brand they carry if possible.
My exception was the RAM as it was just...
You literally just proved his point. :signs8:
Back on topic, I have had two trucks now with them and love them. Would not own this truck without them if possible.
Love the ability to have organized/unorganized crap in them that is locked.
And they are awesome for that take out food you...
Thanks for the info. I was just curious on the fuel. You would think there would be a slight deficit. I average 13 MPGs...so not like it really matters.

The ride is so nice.
Being able to raise it up for off-road/hazardous conditions/parking lots (with side steps deployed) is nice.
Being able to lower it for loading/detailing/older people getting in is nice as well.
Wash day!
Also tried the new Turtle Wax Seal and Shine...will see if it is better/worse/same as the CarPro reload that was on it for the past 8 months.
Yup I think only the built in NAV and Sirius/XM can be made full screen. It is still nice in that you can have Waze on the top and something else on the bottom (music, hvac controls, etc).
This forum won't let me link to the other Ram forums so you will need to search there.
Again this is...
1. Not possible. Is a limitation of Apple Carplay/Android Auto with the system. Some aftermarket items can do things to the system but not sure it can do that.
2. Yep...does not work well. There is a mechanical turn knob over by the light knob you can manually adjust it at night so it is...
Fairly certain it works with the outside sensor to determine the intensity of the fan/cooling/heating.
In addition it works with the outside sensor most likely to determine heated seats/steering wheel when doing remote starts.
As mine is a lease I will leave it stock mostly. If I decide to buy it after the lease then the mods would begin.
Truth is this truck is quite decked out and needs no mods unless you want a bit more performance or exhaust note.
Even the stock 22 wheels look fantastic. Tires could definitely...
To be fair, how do you know the tow mirror option price does not include a credit for the folding mirrors?
It does suck that they do not fold and they also remove the 360 camera if I remember correctly.
We definitely have a difference. Please go test drive an F150 3.5 EB and get back to me. Normal mode is a big difference...sport mode will just piss you off.
AC changed in 5th gen 1500s so you are not affected.
Yup
Some repetition here I am sure but would love the following to be changed/added in future models:
33 Gallon Fuel tank as standard...or at least don't require other packages to get it
Walk away auto door lock feature
Locking fuel door ideally that auto locks as well
Ram Boxes that do not warp...
My definition is the current 6.4 is not much better in the Ram...thus not worth it even if they offered it.
Now the 485HP version would have me for sure...especially if they went ahead and topped it off to 500.
