I thought I posted this this last month but I didn't so here it is...I ordered a 2019 Rebel.
Specs:
5.7 w/o the E-torque
Spring Suspension
Block Heater
Rebel 2 package
Bright White & Crystal Black
8.4" Uconnect
Spray in bed-liner
Sidesteps
I think this will be the perfect truck for my transfer...
I'm trying to decide between a 2019 2500 or a 2019 Rebel. They're both about the same price and I'm not sure if I'll need the 2500 since it looks like we'll be selling our travel trailer.
What do you all think?
I need a new truck to tow my Grand Design 2600RB from Texas to Alaska. Should I order a 2019 2500 with 6.4 and 8 spd or get a 2018 2500?

The wife and I were traveling east in I10 headed toward Houston at about 75 mph. This guy in Ram 3500 dual lt was towing a 30’ to 33’ TT and passed me doing about 80-85 mph. I looked at my wife and said, “I bet those TT tires aren’t rated for over 65 mph.” About 2 mins later his tire blew...
Is it the weight of the truck that makes towing with a 2500 more stable? My wife and I will be buying a new truck when I return from Korea. I had a 1500 5.7 Hemi and it towed alright but I want more to be more on the safe side. I’d rather have too much truck and not enough.

I was talking about getting a 2500/3500 at work and they kept talking about the front u-joints having to be replaced. I’ve never heard of this issue is it a thing?

I’ve got a 2014 1500 with 3:21 gears and the 8 spd with the HEMI. Is it that much of a difference towing with a 2500 vs a 1500?

It's official, I'm out of the 36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. Just went over 36,000 problem free miles today. Here's to at least 100,000 more.

Had a blowout on the truck while towing home yesterday. (Hit a rock) Has anyone had any experience with Bridgestone Dueler LTHs?

Took out our Imagine 2600RB by Grand Design this weekend. 330 miles round trip avg'd 9.7 out and 11.7 back. Kept at 65 mph out 63 mph back.

I installed my TonnoPro LoRoll tonneau cover this afternoon. It took me 16 min 28 sec to install it by myself. That was with unpacking.
